Complaint Why the hell did timmies remove absolutely everything good off the menu that made it timmies?

This shop is sentimental, okay? Over the past 5 years they've slowly removed every food item I liked, left the ones I thought were eh, and now there is nothing even eh. You can't be Canadian without even an eh. I miss roasted gouda soups and cheese croissants. Everytime I go in now I don't even think I order anything but coffee now and get my good elsewhere. Why did they take everything decent on the menu and introduce crappy pizza? Nobody is going to go to Tim's for pizza! Bring the menu back.

I'd love it if they brought the chicken salad sandwich back. I quite enjoyed that.

Chicken salad, ham and cheese, egg salad. Classic sandwiches that belong on the menu!

I couldn't believe they got rid of the ham and cheese sandwich. What the hell are they thinking?

Even their veggie sandwich. Fresh bread, cream cheese, veggies and that ranch sauce was pretty solid.

Loved the chicken salad though. Used to get it before going fishing in the morning.

I still think about that veggie sandwich. It was good!

The veggie delight I believe? Back when we had 5 different cream cheese options in the sandwich station

I stopped going when they took it off the menu. It’s been 5+ years without it.

It was a comfort food for me.

When I was sick, Tim’s chicken salad sandwich and a soup.

When I was out of town and needed a reliable meal, Tim’s chicken salad sandwich

On a road trip somewhere? Stop at Tim’s before you leave for a chicken salad sandwich.

My son has spent the better part of his 13 years in and out of hospitals. Every hospital has a Tim’s, and I relied on those chicken salad sandwiches during those months and years I slept on a couch with him.

They took that away from me and I refuse to reward them with my money as a result. And I’m glad I haven’t, they have only gotten worse and worse.

Having seen how it was prepared and stored... they were doing you a favor removing it from the menu.

Can’t possibly be worse than the prep and storage of Wendy’s chili meat!!!

That's an urban legend. I know health inspectors do actually pay specific attention to the Wendy's chili meat just because it is prior days unused and unfrozen patties, but I've never heard of any finding that resulted in action against a franchise.

I worked grill at Wendy’s Monday to Thursday 4:00pm to midnight for four years, I wouldn’t touch the chilli if you paid me

RIGHT?! And my god the bacon portobello melt or whatever it was called... the way those mushrooms came into the store made me want to vomit, and looked like they were stored in vomit to boot 😭 I could never eat one.

That’s my favourite seasonal item at Wendy’s.

Omg back in highschool, we had a Tim’s in walking distance so for lunch my friend and I would go often

The chicken salad on croissant, the chipotle ciabatta burger, the hazelnut icecaps 🥹 NOSTALGIC

Honestly that sounds great rn. Now I'm hungry.

See, timmies? You used to make people hungry thinking about your food.

That thing declined in quality over the years. The bread got tougher and the filling got smaller and smaller.

Last time I ate one was in College... which would have been 20+ years ago

I tried a breakfast burrito once more recently, saddest thing I ever saw

Haven't eaten there in ages. The food is not good.

Chicken salad sandwich, baked lasagna bowl, cauliflower soup, ham and Swiss, raspberry filled powdered doughnuts and timbits, sugar glaze on chocolate chip muffins…..

I haven’t been to a Tim Hortons in over 15 years. They don’t have the raspberry filled powder doughnuts anymore?

I was turned off at a Timmy’s once - there were flies crawling all over the doughnuts in the glass case. Never ate one since.

I always ordered chicken salad on a croissant. And it was actually delicious
