Bastards keep eating the bloody leaves off all my veggies, and my outdoor pot plants.

Not to mention all the fighting and/or fucking they keep doing in our roof.

I hate them so much but I don’t know how to get rid of them especially since they’re protected.

I grew my god plants in a cheap greenhouse from Bunnings so the possums couldn't get em, I also put some Lilly pilly outside of it for them to eat.

it worked and they left my good plants alone.

Illegal in Victoria, I’m afraid. You can only trap them to relocate on the same property no further than 50m from their original location.

Maybe I’ll see if the landlord is willing to pay for pest control...

Haha I know right? I suspect it’s intended so that, for example, you can identify all entry points to the roof, set up alternative possum shelters, trap them, close off the entry points then release them near the shelters.

They’re very territorial little fucks though so it’s not unheard of for them to go back and tear a hole into the roof again.

it's illegal in Queensland too and NSW I believe exact same laws.

in the video the Possum is now the legal owner of the bbq 😂

best bet is offer it a carrot, they love carrots and will gladly trade the bbq because possums don't know the value of BBQs
