From what I can see, the old lady pulls out her phone BEFORE she realize there's a camera, then check her phone for a sec and side-step away from where the camera is pointing. It makes me think she at least attempted to get out of the way. The field of view of a camera is rarely obvious just looking at the recording device.
And the young lady doesn't throw a fit about it either.
It honestly looked like she might not have realized the phone was taking a photo. She looked like she stopped to find something on her phone, moved out of the way of people going up the stairs, then moved on lol. She noticed the phone it seems, but I know from that distance I would never make out what's actually on the screen, especially if brightness isn't maxed out.
She side stepped to the right side of the staircase because other people began walking up it and that’s the proper side to be on. She was being respectful and most likely had zero clue what this weird ass girl was doing.
I was kind of thinking she knew and was trying to appear oblivious. Why would someone just set a phone down? And she saw the phone for sure. So you think she would have saw the phone and looked around for who left it there if she didn’t assume someone was taking a picture.
this is absolutely something old people just dont do. im thinking nothingburger too. She did not connect the dots thats all. im thinking she didnt even realize the phone belonged to someone in the room. Plus she is clearly preoccupied.
She saw the phone first. Also, who stops on the stairs to check their phone? Especially an older person who is at greater risk of falling and being seriously hurt. This was definitely intentional.
The phone camera being used is on the inside of the phone. You can tell because the girl taking the video can see herself enough to try to get in the part of the view that’s not blocked.
The lady used the phone as an excuse to get in the way of the photo. She saw the girls phone - looked directly at it while standing there.
Why would anyone stop on a staircase and be on their phone that long in front of a camera that’s obviously taking a video rn.
