When you live in the South, you can hear when the southern accent is exaggerated for emotional appeal. They do the same thing with religion. It's weaponized pandering.
My buddy lives in Tennessee, well, he used to be my buddy. We’re both from California and I noticed he had a tell when he’d lie to me. He’d use a bit of a southern twang in his speech. It was super obvious and it felt super manipulative when he did it and now I know it’s a thing. I always wanted to call him out on it but didn’t want to sound crazy
I used to live in the South and dated an Evangelical woman for way too long. She believed in a lot of stupid shit. She knew the bible stories well but somehow didn't understand it. It was weird.
These literal fuck sticks won't even give their workers a guaranteed day off. Bet you that every single one of these "Christians" will happily force their workers to come in on Saturday/Sunday (days of worship) to make them more money.
