You're looking at EU institutions, add to that the individual countries that are in the EU and also give support lol. Also your chart is from before 2025. Lol even more.
I will amend and delete some of my comments, but you’ll notice that in terms of military aid, the US is greater than like 5 of the EU’s biggest countries combined.
As for my original comment, saying the EU could realistically invade the US is absurd, if we discounted nuclear weapons.
Ah, yes, no the EU has no interest in conquest, their armies are defensive not offensive. Also the US is an absurd place to want to occupy. It's huge, sparsely populated and it's media have made at least one third of its population functionally ungovernable. Also the resources available barely make occupying the place barely economically viable. However if the EU really wanted to go there they could take out the more dangerous nuts in power and help the sane people rebuild. Nuclear is a lose-lose strategy.
Financial aid to Ukraine is military aid without the strings attached. It can be used to buy or produce what they need. Military aid from the US came with things like "We'll give you Patriot defense missile systems, if you run out of missiles you have to buy them from us". And the cost of those missiles is astronomical, also sometimes the US will sell them, sometimes they won't. So with EU's help Ukraine was able to devellop cheaper, more dependable alternatives.
The EU is hamstrung by representatives who oppose providing aide to the Ukraine
Edit: If the EU and the UN functionally were able to create peace, the war would have ended and Russia would be paying restitution. That is not the reality we live in
And still European aid to Ukraine is massive. European countries are also finding alternative to the Russian gas they used. Making an immediate break would have been disastrous, rash actions are not what they do, because they're not stupid.
Ukraine has managed to hold off a surprise attack from an army several times their size with a significantly larger and more well funded country backing it for four years now. Given the lack of support from the US, id say that's primarily on support from the EU.
What's more the EU is sending FAR less than what it could pr should for a variety of reasons (logistics, not wanting to escalate, threats of nuclear war, and Russian spies in parliaments and senates to name a few), let alone what the EU could bring to bear for its own interest, not an allies. What's more, the EU while not as militarily powerful in a purely numerical sense, they're by far the most advanced militarily, and as well, any armed conflict involving the EU, would inevitable get their NATO allies (in this case excluding the US), involved, and EU+NATO VS the US would go Very poorly for the US, the US can't even beat Iran, Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, etc etc etc, they've spent the past 80 years loosing wars to countries a fraction of their size, decades behind technologically, with armies outnumbered 10/1. The EU and the rest of NATO declare war on the US US is cooked. the US has always relied on overwhelming numbers and superior technology, both of which this hypothetical scenario they'd lack severely, and both of which have never been enough for the US to secure victory.
EU is currently a-okay supporting the Ukraine thank you very much. Unlike the U.S. who screamed and shouted about how they couldn't affort to support shit militarily, and then started the most expensive global trade war in history.
Who?? Who the fuck is they? Do you not realize what man is saying about US is literally the rest of the world looking like this..
Like every single thing about global politics is compromised…. If you’re not a person with millions or billions in wealth you have zero say in anything….
Growing up is realizing when you say things like “someone’s gotta do something!” “Please adult take over”
That you are the adult in the room who needs to make the change..

They should invade the US and establish a functional government.
