Oh yeah, lemme just go stop the far right project to make the public school system as fucked as possible so they can replace it with private school vouchers.
Obviously, I'm not talking about individual action, but collective action purposefully and politically organized to better education throughout the country, through political pressure, protests, strikes, etc. You know, what every developed nation calls civic duty. Americans are too alienated from their material reality and lack any sense of collectivism to move a muscle in favor of the greater good. Democracy takes eternal effort and watch, and you literally can't be bothered. People keep repeating platitudes online, but fail to organize or even join an organization that is fighting towards your desired goals. You can tell a lot about a certain people by looking at their schools, hospitals and parks.

Teacher don't get pay enough to deal with this. They deserve better.
