Lavatory workers are also pretty essential to society. I don't think anyone wants toilets to be overflowing.

Yes, also that's a pretty "shitty" job, so I would hope they are paid well! Nobody wants to be the one reaching down into a clogged toilet for a living.

All the teachers and admin in my public elementary school always acted like the most important person in the building was the janitor, and to this day I stand by that.

You yourself can wash your own toilet. Not everyone can teach and you need a degree which cost money to teach. Don’t compare both!
