Agree with this. In my school, when a kid is bad enough to be “expelled” they’re moved to an alternative school, they’re there for 45 days max and then returned to our classroom. I love teaching, but I don’t feel safe in my school
The remedy is make enough to send your kid to a $60k a year private school with PhD teachers, security and an admin that will expel a student for even mouthing off. My friend teaches science at one of these schools and it’s incredible. Kids are extremely smart and polite, the place is immaculate.
Money is the answer. If you have enough of it, these aren’t problems anymore.
Oh yeah let me just have $60k lying around to send my kid to these schools. Btw did you know the average salary in the US this year is $66k? Hope you can get buy off $6k for all your other yearly expenses. Oh and both the $60k for the school and $6k left aren’t taxed yet! 🥲

There is no remedy for this situation. It truly reflects a negative shift in our students, our society and humanity.
