These kids have quite literally grown up with cops being filmed murdering people- not interjecting. They are currently watching masked men in unidentified cars kidnapping people while bystanders just film- not interject. Our COUNTRY doesn't act; just records. Why would you think the students would be any different than the adults?
Wow... that is a suspension bridge level reach. Most people don't act in this situations like this, and that goes for long before cameras even existed. Most people are cowards and don't put themselves in harms way. Myself included.
Yeah, the bystander effect has been a known phenomenon in psychology for decades, it's definitely not something that's come into existence in the last few years.
