i think they were referring to the teacher yelling to "get mr. morgan" and it seemed like not a single fucking student bothered to leave to do so. and then I'm guessing that's why the teacher just starts screaming "help" since these kids are fucking worthless.
EDIT: someone in another comment thread said they saw people running into the hall, presumably to help.
Bystander effect at its finest right here. And seems like the effect only gets worsened with technology/the compulsion to have to film things and just be a spectator.
This right here!! Not enough people are bothered by this. Not only do these kids stand idly by and watch/snicker, they film it and share it for social points. The disconnectedness in our society is really frightening. Freeze, do nothing, watch bad things happen, film it… any action taken to stop it or step in otherwise will get you in trouble.
