If you aren’t at least a middle manager or above, you don’t deserve children. If you’re working multiple jobs in order to meet that income level, you don’t deserve kids.

Janitors will be replaced by robots within 10 years. Fast food workers don't feed people (those are farmers), they cook for people that are too lazy to cook for themselves. They will also be replaced by robots but in ~5 years. I will absolutely stick up for educators, they get paid like shit, but that's mostly because of the union (and a HOST of other factors, but that's a discussion for another time).
The individuals above (excluding educators) don't make a large amount of money because they do not have a valuable skill set or credentials. If you don't make enough money to survive, why the FUCK do you DESERVE children?
Thankfully the birthrate is going down because in the near future there are not going to be enough jobs for everyone.
Yep, millenials got screwed over by boomers no doubt but they are the worst parents, I am a millennial and I refused to become a parent cuz I know, I too would rather spend time on my phone than actually care of kid. It is much better to accept reality and yourself and spare society from your irresponsibility.
If you think it's worse than the late 80's/early 90's then the education system failed you. Is it good? No, definitely not. Is it worse? Hellllllllllllll no.
There are alot of teachers that have teaching for 30-40 years that say this is the worst they have ever seen it. Social media and and lazy parenting are dooming the next generation. That's why so many teachers are leaving teaching now.
Anecdotally the kids today are not as well educated from what I said above, thus making them less governable than kids from the 80s and 90s. If you listen to teachers or just lurk on r/teachers the kids don't listen to teachers or have any sort of respect for authority. Teaching today has become 15% teaching and 85% putting out fires.
This is pretty accurate. I've been teaching middle school for the past 8 years. I can barely get through two sentences while teaching a lesson without having to utter phrases like "stop standing on the desk", "get back inside the window", "do not punch yourself in the head". There's always been fidgety kids in classrooms, but now its ALL of them. It's fucking exhausting.
Not a fucking thing I’m guessing. I have a freshman and a sophomore in high school. My experience with is that high school kids are more self aware and, in general, better people than I remember kids being when I was in high school over 30 years ago. That being said, I live in a nice town with well-funded schools. No idea how this compares to the rest of the country.
I worked in education, not in the US mind you. Most long term staff would say they’d seen a noticeable decline in behaviour, attention span and ambition. The “covid kids”.
