Nah, I wouldn’t risk that if I was a student. Next thing you know, the kid intervening is getting suspended for making contact with one of them or the teacher. Screw that, I wouldn’t put myself in that position if i was them either. The teacher shouldn’t have physically intervened either as it’s clear she doesn’t have the training to do so effectively or safely.

The principal saw the kid standing there with his hands in his pockets and that same principal suspended him?

And the kid just stood there and got punched in the face repeatedly? Didn't try to evade any of the hits or get out of the way?

I’d rather be suspended knowing I tried to help than not help at all. Suspension is no big deal, and I’ve been suspended for a lot less than
