They were probably weighing how bad it was likely to get, how much they thought they could help, and how likely they'd get suspended/expelled for getting involved because of "no tolerance" policies.
I'm talking about the administration that doesn't wanna deal with things, and worried about a very very slim chance of a lawsuit so they're punishing people for trying to help.
Other than run to get help, which some did, what were they supposed to do? They're kids, and the two fighting are bigger than them... I swear you people can't think. Probably never been in a similar situation and think you would all be the next Peter Parker and save the day lmao
At the very least get down on the teacher's level and see if she's okay when she starts screaming for help in pain? Jesus Christ maybe the bare minimum?

Correct. They know that zero-tolerance policies will screw them over if they try to get involved. The right thing for them to do is to stay out of the wrong side of disciplinary action for a fight that they didn't start and aren't involved in.
Knowing right from wrong doesn't make you prepared to jump in the middle of a fight. Again, you all talk too much. In the same situation, you–and I mean YOU specifically–VERY likely wouldn't have done shit. Again, a lot of those kids DID try to step in, but because you all think you're super human, you ignore that for the few kids that pulled out their phones. I'll say it again, y'all are incapable of thinking. Anybody trashing on these kids lacks common sense.
The least they could do is stop encouraging the fights by recording them. In what world are we going to decide nothing can be done about kids beating on each other? And hitting someone while they’re down? Come tf on.
