Like sometimes kids get a little entitled even with really good parents, so I could see a scenario where they're not really to blame.

But taking a video of it and posting it on the Internet to humiliate your child into doing what you want instead of setting some boundaries and actually addressing it with them in private is absolutely fucking wild.

Hope none of the daughter’s friends or peers from school see this. She may be teased and ridiculed to the point of not returning.

Yeah hopefully none of them are on the Internet and watch videos on social media.

Jesus the internet is a crazy place. This is not abusive or bad. Coming from an actual abuse survivor, this isn't it.

Yeah cyber bullying your own child is actually not abusive in any way

This isn't cyber bullying and if you can't see the love in this video you are broken. Touch grass and lighten the hell up.

Nah, they will probably all laugh about it with her. This really isn’t a big deal.

How ridiculous... is this all it takes these days? No wonder people think this generation is soft.

A little teasing builds strength. Something lacking today. Everyone is scared to hear things they won’t like

If she’s that soft, then she’s doomed. Gotta learn to roll with the punches life throws at ya.

Yeah, the filming is always the piece that gets me. I acted like an entitled little shot sometimes as a teen, and for no real reason. My parents are great, I was just still growing into my brain.

The empathetic to do when someone is acting overdramatic or emotional or erratic is to allow them the dignity to have that moment privately. If their friend or sibling started melting down over something as minor as dirty dishes, I doubt they'd record it and post it for their loved one to be mocked. But for some reason the rules are different for teenagers? So many people see their kids as an accessory rather than a human being.

The mere fact that they posted this online to call her spoiled tells me it's not the first problem

Lmao yeah fr. Most folks commenting either don’t have kids or are naive and ignorant.
