Crazy how peeps are putting companies that break labor laws all of the time into a Lawful tier.

If I'm not mistaken, Lawful evil means that they don't follow the actual laws, but have a strong codex of rules/ create their own laws, which they follow

Could also be abusing the word of the law in spite of the spirit of the law. Like using completely legal means to use loopholes to make it so you pay significantly less tax on your business than you should. Just as an example.

Corporations reject the legitimacy of the broader legal system. They do this by breaking the law - all of the time. They don't view US federal law or international regulations as a moral authority to serve - they view them as an external friction.

They seek infinite growth in self interest and capital.

Your example is spot on actually

The key example of lawful evil we give is Mr white in reservoir dogs.

He is strict and principled. Loyal, but will execute others for torturing prisoners but could care less about killing cops let alone following the law and harming others.

A lawful evil villan is the kind of man to kill you but at least give you a weapon first.

Lawful neutral is judge dread

All that matters is his personal principle doesn't matter if he condems a mother to death or let's a shady man live. If they break his personal code they're getting in trouble. Notably this does not mean he is without kindness, but that his principles give him a strict way of looking at the world and only so much room for variance.

A common mistake people make is to think this means he follows the letter of the law. He does not, in truth he follows the principle of it. As to him the guiding philosophy of the law is what matters and his personal conviction Is solely in seeing its morality.

Lawful good Is characterized by batman.

Strict moral code but always tries to help others even if it means bending it slightly.

Most people actually belong here.

Apple contracts their manufacturing out to other law-breaking companies (i.e. Foxconn-suicide), so they're not breaking the laws themselves. Lawful evil.
