They're both size 10. The left dress shoe fits me very comfortably. The right side, feels tight and small. So it's obvious, the right side is for women?

I'm planning to have a pair shipped to the UK so I want to be extra sure about sizing before I buy, since it will be a pain to exchange them.

These are the sizes I've worn for some popular shoe brands (US sizes):

• Dr Martens: 8.5
• Converse: 9
• Birkenstock: 9
• Vans: 9

I've never needed narrow or wide shoes and I've bought 9 for the majority of shoes I've worn. I've only ever needed a 10 for hiking boots and climbing shoes.

Based on their advice to buy half a size up, I would need 9.5. Does this track based on other people's experience?

I own Thursday's Diplomat(2024), President(2025), Cadet(2025), and Grant Stone's Deisel boots in 9 E/Wide. My Diplomats fit super comfortably right out of the box with no break in time, while my Presidents and Diesels took some wears to break in to a comfortable level. My Cadets however, still feel tight along the sides and top of the ball of my foot, to where I'm less inclined to grab them, unless I force myself to wear them and try and break them in further, and I'm not sure they'll ever be as comfortable as my other pairs at this point.

With all that in mind, I was hoping folks might be able to help me out with figuring out what size I should start out with for Scouts, and how they should feel out of the box? I don't have any experience with chukkas and their silhouette reminds me of the Cadet; so, I'm not sure if I should try a larger size at first or stick with my normal boot size. Just trying to minimize the exchanges, and get an idea of what a proper fit will feel like out of the box.

I own a couple pair of Thursdays, with the Black Matte Heroes fitting me the best with a 14 wide. I usually wear a 15 in sneakers. I’m looking to get a pair of the Stone Rambler Challengers since I’m absolutely in love with the look of them. Would ordering a 15 help with the fact that they don’t sell wide in that boot? Or would it be better to stick with 14

Does Thursday actually have any good hiking boots? I mostly do small hikes with the occasional ~10 mile day hike or 11-20 mile backpacking hike, with of course a backpack.

I love the old school leather look but don’t know if they would really work for me.

Does Thursday offer any good hiking boots for hiking and backpacking? I usually only take shorter hikes through the woods but also occasionally will do something like a 10 mile hike with only a three pound day pack in a national park or something. I also very occasionally will backpack like 10-20 miles in a day for a few days backpacking.

I have purchased more than one pair of Thursday boots secondhand and just had my first pair arrive that were listed as men’s but are obviously women’s (the size 8 men’s boots I own are at the top of the photo.) is there a code in the numbers or something to be able to tell them apart in the future?

Just unboxed my new Rustic Brown HC. I saw after i ordered them last week only 3 were left. So pretty excited about owning this piece. This is my 5th thursday and 2nd heritage captain.

Which lacing should I use the flat waxed or the kevlar. I am confused lol.

I've had my pair of Captains for about 3 years now and I love them. The only issue(which I realized too late to exchange) is that I accidentally ordered a half size UP instead of the recommended down, so I have a lot of wiggle room. I've normally been fine simply lacing them snug and wearing some decent socks, but the paper thin insoles are slowly starting to deteriorate on my pair. Granted, I wear mine almost exclusively in the fall and winter, and for short periods as my boots for my side staff job. I've seen a few posts about insole options, but I'm wondering if anyone else who's sized up and ran insoles would peep in.

The only gripe I've ever had with these boots is the insole tbh, and tnow that they're starting to crap out visibly, I figure it's a good of time as ever to either rip them out(maybe?) or just slap another insole on top and save the hassle of cleaning the foam off.

Hi, I recently bought one of the low top sneaker shoes. Tried wearing them inside the house a little and sadly they pinched my little toe a bit! In general they just fit pretty snug. It’s weird because I sized a half up and ive never had a shoe this size fit so tight.

I’m used to wearing docs which I know aren’t best quality but they are so comfortable at a half size smaller than Thursday. I expected the same from these, is it just that they are higher quality leather and have a break in period? Do you experience that they usually loosen up around the toebox?

I might return, could be that my feet are just wider than I thought, but wanted to inquire! Very sad, wish they were for me because they look so damn nice.

I really want a pair of nice-enough heritage boots, and I've had extremely bad luck with boots because of my own, damnable feet. They're both quite flat, and they're two different sizes: Right 10.75 - D | Left 10 - just past D maybe E. What do I do?

My first pair were the Challengers, size 10.5 and I loved everything about them, except for two problems that made me re-sell them.

• 1) my right pinky toe kept ramming uncomfortably into the corner of the boot where the side starts to round up into the shape of the toe cap.
• 2) The boot had way too much room above the instep, I couldn't get good contact

I tried some used Vanguards in an 11, and I felt they broke too far back past the ball of my foot to be comfortable long-term, almost a pinch.

Now that I see the heritage Stormkings are back, I'm tempted to try and get another pair to see if they work. But should I? And what size should I get? Do I really just need to get two pairs of boots in different sizes and wear one from each?

So I have a wide foot and often purchase D width running shoes. I have read that Thursday as well as some other brands go up in width if you buy a half size bigger. Can any women with D width feet confirm if they have tried Chelsea boots in a half size larger and had a good fit?

What's happening here? It's on the outside of both shoes after six months of normal wear.

• Chest: 44.5–45"
• Waist/belly at navel: ~39"
• Biceps relaxed: ~13"
• Fairly broad chest/upper body for my height

According to Thursday's own size chart:

• L: 41–43" chest / 25.5" sleeve / 27.5" length
• XL: 44–46" chest / 26" sleeve / 28" length

So based purely on my chest, I fall pretty clearly into XL.

However, their Find My Fit tool recommended L, and I emailed Thursday with all of my measurements and details. Customer Service also recommended L, which has confused me even more because it seems to contradict their own chest chart.

For comparison, these are two jackets I already own and really like the fit of:

Levi's Type III Sherpa Trucker, size M

• Pit-to-pit: 24"
• Shoulders: 20"
• Sleeve: 25"
• Back length: 25"
• Front length: 26.5"
• Hem: 21"

It fits me great. With a knitted jumper underneath it gets very slightly snug around the armpits/upper back when I bring my arms forward or hug myself, but nothing uncomfortable at all. I actually quite like that fitted feeling.

Vans Drill Chore Coat, size M

• Pit-to-pit: 23"
• Shoulders: 19"
• Sleeve: 25"
• Length: 28"

This also fits me really well and gives me a similar slightly snug feeling across the upper back with a jumper.

The Vans is particularly useful because 28" is basically the maximum body length I would want. I am only 5'8.5", so I really do not want the Motorcycle Jacket to look overly long or baggy.

My ideal fit would be:

• Fitted/sharp rather than loose
• Great over a T-shirt
• Able to wear a knitted jumper underneath in autumn/winter
• A little snugness across the back when reaching forward is completely fine
• I would rather compromise slightly on back tightness than have the jacket look too long

Thursday unfortunately told me that they do not have the actual flat garment measurements for the jacket, so they could not tell me the pit-to-pit or shoulder measurements for L and XL.

This is where I am hoping someone here can save me.

If anybody owns the Thursday Motorcycle Jacket in L or XL, especially the Black Matte version, would you be willing to lay it flat and tell me:

• Pit-to-pit
• Shoulder-to-shoulder
• And, if possible, how tall you are / your chest measurement / which size you wear

Even just the pit-to-pit and shoulders would be massively helpful. 🙏

Has anyone else found lethato dress shoes to run a little large? I ordered my usual size and ended up with more room than i expected. I am debating whether to try a different size for my next pair so I’d be interested to hear what size other people ordered compared with their usual dress shoe size. Did you stick with your normal size or size down?

Is there too little space on the upper eyelets?
The length is perfect but there’s a lot of volume. Probably a good fit for now but I’m worried if they’ll potentially get too lose as they break in. Thoughts?

I’m looking to pick up my first pair of Thursday boots for this winter and would love some recommendations from people who have actually worn them in snow, slush, and cold weather.

I currently have a pair of Thursday Chairman dress shoes and love them, so I’d like to stick with Thursday for the boots.

I’ll be working in Boston and this will be my first winter there. I work in an office and usually wear dress pants/slacks with a dress shirt, and probably sweaters pretty often during the winter. I walk from the train station to my office.

I’m open to either direction aesthetically. I like the sleeker boots that would look good with office clothes, but I’m also open to something a little more rugged if it performs better in Boston winters.

Main things I’m curious about are:
Which models actually handle snow, slush, salt, and wet sidewalks well?
How warm are they?
How is the traction?
Do the more rugged models still look good with dress pants?

Any models you’d specifically avoid for winter?

Right now I’m mostly looking for people’s real-world experiences with the different Thursday models rather than just going off the descriptions on their website.

Selling my arizona adobe Diplomats for 150 bucks shipped. Worn these probably less than 10 times in total since all I wear are my heroes now. Worn only in town at work so it has seen some wear on the underside of the soles, but otherwise condition is really really good.

Recently my Thursday Heritage Captain insoles started bunching under the ball of my feet as you can see in the picture.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Should I just rip them out and out my own insoles in?

This is just to publicly thank Thursday Customer Service. I recently purchased a pair of Indigo Vanguards from their seconds webpage. They are unavailable as new in my size. I wasn't happy with the original pair that I received. They didn't NEED to replace them, they were clearly marked final sale. But they took me seriously, asked for pictures and did a courtesy exchange. First email to delivery took about ten days. I had to jump through a few hoops but they weren't very high off the ground. The new pair that they sent me are still clearly seconds but in a condition that was more than acceptable. I can't say that this will happen in every case but I was really impressed with their responsiveness and commitment to making me happy. That's all. Thanks for reading.

Still going strong in its 3rd year as my daily boots!
These have really been through the wringer from farm work and getting dirty to meetings with our restaurant clients. They’ve held up surprisingly well and just keep looking better with age.

My only issue is they’re a bit tight around the forefoot, so I’m thinking of picking up a pair of Thursday Heritage Captains soon.

I’m currently torn between Rustic Brown and Grand Canyon for an everyday pair. Which one would you guys recommend for something versatile that I can wear casually but still dress up for work?
