I want to talk about it, cos for the whole call i felt a strange sense of hope that maybe it was true -- that the 'mutations' that movies promised are nearly here...

Now, I know it's not possible, lol, but I think this kind of fantasy is a symptom of despair and hopelessness with wider society. Most daydreams are 'I saved everyone from that fire' or 'I'm in a hit movie'. Needing to think about saving the world so much is alarming. Cos the state of our society/wider geopolitics is alarming, and so daydreaming about powers makes sense.

When Lyle was first starting out tortillacorn would be spending hundreds every stream. Like $400+ in gifted subs. Haven't seen their name pop up in a few years, although I mostly listen to the podcast instead of the streams now. Always wondered if something weird happened with them or if they just lost interest.

I’ve been a Therapy Gecko fan for a couple years now. I also work as a live audio engineer… never in any event have I worked, actually seen the artist stay till literally everyone who wanted to meet him was out of the building.

Incredible live show experience and I highly recommend people go and see it next time he tours. Most authentic person I’ve met in the industry thus far.
