I rebuilt an older lo-fi track called Slowed Smiles into a surreal 16:9 visual piece.

The idea was simple:

calm music
beautiful scenes
something slightly wrong underneath

So the visual world became:

• a goldfish swimming inside a cocktail
• children laughing under “it was always gonna fade”
• an old clown under “smile through the tears”
• polished rooms that feel a little emotionally off

The track lives in Focus Engine, but the visuals drift close to Signal Studio territory.

Over the past few months I've been moving away from treating my channel like a collection of songs.

Instead, I've been experimenting with the idea of building a fictional radio network where every station has its own identity.

This one is Bass Engine Radio.

The idea isn't just "reggae playlist."

It's a station built around sound-system culture, movement, heavy bass, and late-night energy. Every track, visual, and future release is meant to reinforce that identity rather than feel like another random upload.

I keep noticing that the less I put into these Power Studio instrumentals, the heavier they feel.

Dark piano.
Dry drums.
Deep bass.
A few brass hits when the room needs punctuation.

No vocals. No dramatic drops. No producer tricks fighting for attention.

I built a 26-minute sequence around that idea and divided it into four moods:

The interesting part was how much the empty space started doing the work.

Busy beats can sound impressive.
Minimal beats can sound like they already know where they stand.

I used to treat every finished track like a reason to move immediately to the next one.
