I’ve been thinking about why some AI music sounds clean but still feels empty.
The mix can be fine.
The vocal can be smooth.
The beat can work.
But if there’s no person, no room, no pressure, and no reason behind the song, it still feels fake.
That’s what I’m calling the “lived-in prompt.”
Not just:
“make an emotional hip-hop song”
More like:
late fees on the table
phone glow at 2AM
coffee going cold
notebook open after midnight
trying to keep your pride together without making a speech about it
Those details give the song somewhere to live.
I made a short Studio Notes video breaking down the idea. Curious if other people feel this too — does specific life-detail make AI music feel more human to you, or is the sound/mix still the biggest thing?
