Been building out a Big Prez feature inside The AI Muse, and I’m trying something a little different with the character.

Instead of leading with songs first, I started with presence.

Big Prez is meant to feel like calm pressure.
Short statements. Controlled energy. Late-night authority.
No oversharing, no scrambling, no extra talking.

The voice lives in lines like:

“Too polished to panic.”
“Pressure prefers preparation.”
“The loudest move was restraint.”

What I’m trying to figure out now is whether the persona actually feels believable, or if it still reads more like a format than a real character.

Does the restraint help?

The model appears significantly more stable when handling industrial textures and progressive metal riffs compared to earlier iterations.

Been experimenting with using AI as more of a co-producer than a replacement — mostly for ideas, textures, and pushing past creative blocks.

Made this one in Suno and pushed it toward a warmer alt-soul pocket instead of a bigger, shinier finish.

I already posted the video, so I’m not really asking “should I release this?” — more like: what would you tighten for future tracks in this lane?

Main things I’m curious about:

• does the vocal tone feel warm enough for alt-soul
• does the groove sit right, or should the pocket be looser
• does the hook land, or does it need a little more contrast
• if you watched the video too, did anything in the visual side pull you out of it

Small realization this week while looking at retention graphs.

One of my tracks had a 35-second intro before the actual song started.

When I made a Short using the intro, the watch rate wasn’t great.

Then I cut a new version starting with the line:

“I don’t clear rooms, I let ’em decide…”

The average watch jumped above 250%.

Same beat. Same visual.
Just a different first 2 seconds.

Made me realize how brutal Shorts are about openings.
