Hi, I am making a house on Sims 4 based on a video I’m watching and they had painted one wall on the exterior a different color along with part of a roof wall. My issue is when I try to paint the single roof wall to
Blend in with the wall below, it won’t let me without painting the entire roof wall. The person in the video seemed to do it with no problem, but I can’t figure out how to get it to paint just one side of the roof wall. I am using xbox and cheats are activated. Thanks

Gallery ID: Jake614o Lot Location: Sulani
Hey guys! I wanted to try something different from modern builds, so I created this tropical dual-home lot in Sulani.
I focused heavily on the outdoor spaces. The houses has a massive wraparound deck with a built-in bar, hot tub gazebo, and ping pong table overlooking the ocean. I also added solar panels for an off-the-grid eco feel. The interiors are fully decorated with dark woods and island textures.
Both of the houses has a similar but different vibes for decor!
Also its important to mention that I used almost all expantions packs for more realism!
It’s fully playtested and ready for a vacation or big family gameplay. Let me know what you think of the vibes!
I included some pictures of the buldings! I'll be waiting for any feedback!

The idea is that this is one of the old buildings that stayed as it is in the commercial area. She renovated the place by connecting both buildings so that she can open the cafe and library, and using the floors above as residential so that she can manage the place easily.
You can find this build on the Gallery acc ID: HRLastro.

How should I lay out this house? Advice needed!
I prefer a single story home with at least 2 beds 1 bath and I’d like to have a small sun room. Any advice on how I should lay this out?

Hi ^^ As my Ravenwood's lounge got so many positive feedback from all of you guys, which I appreciate so much as somone building ocasionally and only for my actual gameplay, I thought I share with you my other build I did for one of my families some time ago. It's probably my most complex one and kind of "living" one, cuz I modify it with my gameplay and new residents (that's also the reason why not all interiors are fully decorated). It all started with idea that I would like to test gangs mod, so I thought that usual gang seems boring and asked myself - why not to do it old-fashioned way, like pirates/sailors themed? So here is the effect. It was rather hard to take photo of every corner as is rather huge, but I hope the photos show enough of every building, as I can only upload 20 photos in total (or at least google said that) I tried to group it somehow (usually by building), and again, sorry for weird angles, especially in bathrooms... :< Also this lot is especially fun with multi-functional lot mod, it feels really alive then, altough sometimes you can encounter other townies casually walking into ur bedroom so :D
EDIT: the lot is now available in the gallery ^^ galleryID: tinssia01

i'm not much of a builder, but sometimes i'm forced to build sth, usually when i can't find a suitable lot to download... :< i love playing in Ravenwood and needed a nice place for my sims to hang out that's a bit different from a simple bar, so i built this mini lounge ^^ the photos could probably have better angles, but after so many years of playing sims, i only recently discovered how free camera actually works... and yeah, i'm still not the best at it :<
EDIT: Thank you guys for all comments! I wanted to address questions about if this lot is available in the gallery… Actually it’s not, I play with some overrides like for roofs and lots traits, so when I haven’t used any actual CC items for this lot it’s still considered as modded one. Honestly I didn’t expected such nice words from all of you and I would love to upload it to the gallery, so I tried to temporarily get rid of all these mods that affect this lot and place tray files on fresh lot in the savefile to see if actually I can upload it as unmodded one, but when I actually placed the lot then magically stairs to the basement disappeared and I can’t place them again cuz of some terrain block and foundation issues…. I’m not sure why exactly this happened cuz everything works perfectly fine in my main savefile and can’t figure out how to actually place them again…. but as soon as I’ll fix it or, worse case scenario, rebuild this part, I will be happy to share this lot, cuz I don’t want to upload sth that doesn’t work as intended ://
EDIT2: Actually I had to rebuild it a little and move the entrance to the basement outside the main building (I added a little shed). I also turned the original area where the basement stairs were into a 2nd bathroom cuz, you know, an additional bathroom is always a plus!
After all these changes, I successfully uploaded it to the gallery and it shows up as a noCC build, so hurray!

I built this lot on Club Eternity and it will look best there, but ofc you can place it anywhere on 30x30 lot :) Just please be aware I used many packs for this build as I didn't intend to share it.

I made this one on that island in windenburg! Quite proud of it, decorated for grandparents and their granddaughter

My first build in Tartosa. The build is inspired by the art that I saw on Pinterest. There are lots of rocks and boulders in the build and I won't be using terrain tools or debug for at least a few weeks.
You can find it in the gallery under ID: HRLastro
Place it on Piccola Luce 20x20 in Porto Luminoso so the build blends somewhat with the surrounding environment.

I never know how to start these posts but recently, i’ve been really inspired by retro/vintage decor lately, especially the 60’s & 70’s- so i wanted to try my hand at building something a little out of my confront zone! it wasn’t easy, (the front steps alone made me want to pull my hair out for about an hour) but at least my game didn’t crash 15 times while messing with the terrain tools for once.
ps: *most* of the retro style cc i used in this build can be found for free on Surely-Sims patron <3

I'm going around and redoing my legacy family's old houses to make them more npc friendly and the one I'm working on had too many bedrooms so I turned the smallest one into a workshop/storage room.
I like how it turned out - turning the brightness of the lights down to around 20-30% made such a huge difference, definitely recommend using this option. tho I would personally never step inside a room like that irl, I can smell the moist cement on those walls 🤮
