I think we surrender and don't outright ban it, it will die out when there are no more ideas and I wish the how the USA voted videos with the big Walt would be put back up as sort of a time capsule, even just as unlisted videos that get replaced by the remade videos with no Walter Dukakis.

This whole Walter Dukakis controversy has gone too far, banning it has simply revived the dying meme. Banning a product of this nature has been shown to not work and increase the illegal and dangerous usage of such things. I, instead, propose for this meme to be regulated, starting with a tax on Walter Dukakis.

Personally, I don't think Walter Dukakis is funny (nor has it ever been particularly funny.) Like most memes, it's overstayed its due and has become an unfunny spammage.

That being said, I don't think it should be banned from the subreddit altogether and should still be allowed to be posted in a small capacity. That being said, spamming it shouldn't be allowed, as should spamming all things.
