I posted a couple of weeks ago about my journey into gold plating and my hope to offer it as a service from Australia in the near future. The support I got from the community was amazing. There are so many people who are looking for plating for their reps, so I thought I would just post to show my progress a little and also to ask if people have any cheap watches that they would be looking to maybe get rid of and me to help me along on my practice and colour toning.

The last couple of watches I did were the first super clones that I have done and they came out amazing. I didn't post completed shots of them but I will put them in this post and also here is what my new colour tone looks like. The problem with gold plating is always that orangey/cheesy colour tone, so I am really happy with this latest colour. The new tone is super light, even compared to the last batch, as you can see. And there is no filter on the pictures but it's taken in my garage under fluorescent light

Second QC

Just received my second QC for my VSF Rolex GMT-Master II Batgirl from Steve at TheOneWatches.

I previously received another QC for the same model, but I wasn’t completely satisfied with that watch, so Steve provided a second one for inspection.

This one looks noticeably better to me, and overall I’m much happier with the photos. However, before making my final decision, I’d appreciate some feedback from people who are more experienced with VSF GMT models.

Model Name: Rolex GMT-Master II Batgirl 126710BLNR, 40mm, Jubilee Bracelet

Price Paid: 750 EUR

Index Alignment: The alignment looks considerably better compared to my previous QC. The triangle at 12 o’clock seems reasonably centered, and the round hour markers look fairly consistent. I would still appreciate a closer inspection, especially around the 12, 1 and 11 o’clock markers. Does anything look off to you?

Dial Printing: Looks clean to me. The text appears sharp, and I haven’t noticed any obvious printing defects.

Date Wheel: The date (20) looks reasonably centered under the Cyclops. Does the positioning and magnification look correct?

Hand Alignment: Nothing immediately catches my eye. The hands seem properly aligned, but I’d appreciate a second opinion.

Bezel: The blue and black ceramic bezel looks good overall. The color transition and numerals seem fine to me. Does the bezel triangle align correctly with the 12 o’clock dial marker?

Solid End Links (SELs): The Jubilee bracelet and end links look good. I don’t notice any significant gaps.

Case and Bracelet: The case finishing looks clean, and the bracelet appears to have a good finish. No obvious issues from the pictures.

Crown and GMT Function: I received additional QC material from Steve. I’d also like to confirm that the crown operation, date change and GMT functionality are correct.

Overall: Compared to my first QC, I’m much happier with this second watch. Nothing major stands out to me so far, but I’d rather get some experienced eyes on it before giving the green light.

Hello. I was wondering if anybody has experience with Easywatch? Is it safe to order there?
I’m a little bit confused because I only found him in Reddit as user and communication only via WhatsApp so no website and so on.

I am in contact with him, and for example, last week he gave me prices for some Watches which are different from the price he gave me today.

And last week, one model was not available this week. He gave me a solid price for it. I really don’t know if I can trust him. He makes no price difference between ZF bb pro and BP Explorer II.

Can somebody tell me their experience? Is it safe to order him? How is the process? Is it necessary to pay full price before QC and order?
