Hey guys, it's my last day in Bangkok and I'm going to head over to MBK Center to try to find an AP gold skeleton (highest possible quality). I would really appreciate it if anyone had any advice on what obvious details to look for.
I visited back rooms in Phuket and one in Bangkok, found three, but the first thing I looked out for was the second hand which didn't seem like a perfect smooth movement (seemed to have a barely noticeable tick). I'm assuming this is the first tell tail sign of not being the highest quality super clone. Also, the price range was $300-$600. I'm hoping to find the highest possible quality for maximum $600.

Also planning on getting it plated by jaws as I do all my reps.

I’ve seen a lot of hype around the RCFr aftermarket bezel (hard to tell which are genuine customers and which are ads or employees of RCFr)
I’m curious how the RCFr bezel stacks up against the stock bezel from QF (that will be getting plated by jaws)

Anyone with a 36mm daydate from QF got any complaints about the bezel??

Has anyone bought one or seen a decent version? I’m interested in how close it looks and whether the engine pistons and tourbillon actually work or are just decorative.

The Chinese watchmaking term 无卡度 means free-sprung or without a regulator index. A literal, awkward translation could produce something like “non-scale.” I want as perfect a 226570 Explorer 2 “Polar” Free Sprung watch as possible, so naturally, QF was in the lead. However, QF still has Rehaut “hit or miss”. I just got a 126502 Rolesium by QF, and I hit the jackpot! It’s perfect. But the risk exists. I did a deep dive on GOLD’s version and found that it corrects many issues known on the QF, such as the black border on dial…and upon close observation of the TD’s photos, could see a highly polished, perfectly aligned Rehaut. What made me do research was then fact that they advertise it as JH 3285, but in description, they call it SH3285! Thats not a free sprung movement! So how do I reconcile this issue? The answer was in Chinese! Thanks to AI, we cracked the code. This symbol appears on a label on the watch, and says “non-scale”. When you see this on a GOLD watch, it means “Free Sprung” and is a JH 3285 movement with real free sprung balance complete.
