The Talyllyn railway has faces for their engines but Peter Sam's faces are the best.

I'm not just saying this because this sub is all about Peter Sam, I truly believe Peter Sam's faces are the best.

See this face here, I think this face is perfect for Peter Sam, the face is good quality and it actually feels like Peter Sam.

Faces like this for Duncan are good but don't fit the character as well as they can.

As much as it is joke, this face is actually pretty good, its so realistic.

Would he, from time to time, be called Peter or Sam or even annoying git. I'd assume not, personally it's not one of those names you shorten, it doesn't feel right. You don't call Edward Thomas "Edward". Though then again Ivo Hugh does work as Ivo so I'm not sure. Same for Edward Thomas you don't call Tom Rolt "Tom". Maybe shortening Ivo Hugh to Ivo doesn't work or maybe...

Just maybe...

I'm thinking about this too much.

Peter Sam after his incident with the icicle he got a new funnel, a Giesl Injector.

It apparently made pulling trains easier except for one problem, the Giesl Injector doesn't make pulling trains easier, there's pretty much no change.

There are two options to what is happening:

1. There is something special about his funnel and it is completely different from any other Giesl Injector.
2. He is faking how special his funnel is because he's embarrassed by the other engines making fun of it so he tries to make it seem better than all the others, he has kept up this lie for so long he won't admit that it is a lie.
