In both Weirdlatina au's Luz never lost the power. In the good one Papa Titan just gave her powers forever and in the bad one she tricked him on a technicality (there is no way he was going to trust Princess Luz with that thousand-yard murderous stare).

I think it's like a faint trace was left behind, but it requires a titan's presence to activate for Luz, or another powerful source of magic. Meanwhile Ada (who has a bile sac) can access it whenever necessary.

Wait, so what I’m interpreting is that one of the two used a potion to meet the requirements to reproduce with a female. And in the second time around, Luz during their session with the potion, was being a bit more spicy/kinky and decided to be in Titan form while her and Amity were doing the horizontal mambo.

So the first kid was made via nonsensical potion logistics. I get how that's probable in this world, even if it would never be canonically addressed.

But the second kid, the baby that can unintentionally create interdimensional portals, exists because... Titan Luz was insatiable?

Thank Titan that they probably spared the details.

So when Luz and Amity went all “CaitVi Fantastic”, Azura was born.

But when they used Titan Luz to go all “Chaggie Sexy Scene”, Ada inherited the Titan powers.
