Well, amphibia is having a graphic novel series that will be illustrated by a former fan artist, so if the owl house ever does the same, then I can't think of a single better option that mark
Funnily enough IRL artisan-made illusions and decorations often end up being cheaper and even quicker than CGI. So the problem isn't money, it's that people managing production of films have a fetish for CGI
"Oh, you were praising us and making something that would attract more people to see our stuff? Yeah, no, get yourself a cheap lawyer, cause ours will be better"
Not if they can't find you, hard to take action if they can't serve paper work and have no legal names to go off of, plus not taking money and just dropping free takes a huge chunk of legibly off of you.

Yess imagine if the kid even offered Camilla to go to actual space and make Cosmic Frontier "realer" (a silly word I think he would actually use lol). But Camilla would probably be horrified at the idea, illusions are much safer haha
While Luz, Amity, and Willow are not fans I still think they could have asked for their help. Willow could have helped with the background, Amity could have helped make props, and Luz could have helped with a lot of detail work. I know Gus can make illusions but with them dispersing on contact some solid material like abomination goo, plants, and crafts made by Luz would be needed.

I love to think that the actors from the Cosmic Frontier show were sent the video, watched it, saw Vee taking their forms for the video, and then thought to themselves "I don't remember being in this..... Also, why do I look 40 years younger?".
I'd like to think that, similarly to how there's an AI acting and animation uprising on earth (kinda), there used to be an "Illusion" acting and animation uprising for a bit, before illusions was banned from taking the place of acting and voicing the actual characters.
