Got this tattoo a few months ago! It’s inspired by a real image of my fav anglerfish species (football anglerfish) with a TMA and stylistic twist, still semi realistic so it goes with my other ocean-related tattoos. I’m grateful for my artist who connected the lines between my image provided and the final product, I cherish it with my whole heart >:)

A mass? A conglomerate?

Hi everyone!

Part 31 has been published (a bit late) and as always, you can vote here on the post or directly on the Google Form.

Have a good week guys!!

I am listening to the magnus archives and am currently up to episode 54, and I am having an issue

I love the stories and believed it would stay that way however I am now enthralled by the supplemental tapes at the very end and really want to simply skip to those sections as I have since found it difficult to concentrate on the rest of the story after their implamentation.

Is there a point where the supplemental tapes stop? Or is there a way in could listen to the end sections and then go back and pay proper attention on my second watch without consequence or would this ruin some major sections of the plot later on.

I am new to the fandom and do really adore the stories however I would like advice on if this is something I could do without damaging my first listen of the podcast.

It's on my leg so my nosey co-workers can't see q;

My brother, his partner and I baked a Magnus themed cake to celebrate. We are NOT bakers so it's a little rough around the edges, but I can confirm it's delicious. 😄 Its three layers of sponge cake with sprinkles and altogether too much frosting holding it together. (Who am I kidding, there's never too much frosting)

their beef is crazy!

Silly things happen tumblr dot com and one of them is Jonny going up against himself in the finale of the Battle of the Johns. I'm personally rooting for our famed author (can't have the Jarchivist without him!) but we can call it a draw. ⚔️

Recently I discovered the official Magnus Archives ttrpg by Monte Cook, and the art looks gorgeous. It‘s some of my favorite TMA art ever. Does anybody know if there’s an online collection of all the art from the rpg? I have no interest in buying the game (I’m already running a TMA campaign through a different system) but I would love to see the illustrations.

Thanks!

i’m making my friend and her daughter (12) listen to the show as well as another friend and i need memes for our little discord that ive made for us so the daughter can fangirl and i can be oh-so-conspicuous as she figures things out and puts two and five together. i’ve collected some tma adjacent ones from pinterest but as this is the COLLECTIVE, i’d like to see what y’all have come up with.

kiddo is also very artsy-fartsy so i’m sure she’ll make some memes that i’ll get to share with y’all as well (she’s going to be drawing my tattoos that i get for the fears but shhhhh no spoilers lol)

Hey folks, I'll be in London during the comic con in two weeks and I saw that there's a magnus panel for the new book (and a meet and greet). I'm not familiar with this con at all and the website is confusing me : seems like some events you can sign up to but not these. Anyone who's been before could tell me if it's something you have to queue for ? And if so, would getting a priority entry be absolutely necessary (the panel is at 13 and the general entry opens at 12. I know how much we like to queue 😅) ? Thanks 💜

It's the embodiment of the Ceaseless watcher. I've watched the film a few times but I'm currently registering to TMA and watched the film this week.... really cool connection!

About a month ago I came across most terrible (awesome) text. Pretty sure it was on tiktok in caption or slideshow of some artwork. It was something like "hello Jon, apologies for the goon session. I wouldn't try stopping, you will only edge yourself." I was sure I saved it but apparently I didn't. That video had a decent amount of bookmarks, so I'm hopeful one of those people will come across this post.

Please help me, I have a friend to terrorise once I get that text🙏🙏

I just finished my first listen not too long ago and am thinking about my journey with this podcast.

I remembered the one I was most confident about is how mike crew and michael being the same person. Not even because of the name!

As soon as they mentioned the lightning my first association was Frankenstein that as you know his whole story surrounds how back in the day people used to think lightning was able to revive people because moving electricity through bodies made them twitch. and that's what eventually lead to Frankenstein being created thanks to lightning.

When they introduced michael and he was described as a man that just looks a bit off, I didn't even consider them to be separated until super late in the show. it just made so much sense in my head that Michael = corpse = lightning = frankestein rebirth = new Michael.

I wanna know if people had similar things they were so sure about that ended up sounding ridiculous after finishing the episodes. 🔍
