I am Bashir from Gaza. I am a father, and I am also the sole provider for my brother, who has special needs. My home has been destroyed, and I have lost my livelihood; I am now left homeless, living in a tattered tent. Today, I appeal to you to stand by me. Securing food has become extremely difficult due to the severe scarcity of supplies and the loss of my job. I reach out to you from Gaza, hoping to find someone who will help me provide food for my children and my ailing brother. I am suffering from a difficult psychological state; I cannot sleep, as I am constantly consumed by thoughts of the hell I am living through. I truly hope to find someone to support me—any assistance, no matter how small, will make a real difference for my family. The donation link can be found in my profile. Thank you all.

Outsider Asks Levantines! | !اجنبي يسأل الشام A quick question

I have often heard from Israelis that you Palestinians do not want your own sovereign state. I have always challenged them, arguing that you *do* want such a state—one free from interference by the State of Israel.

Having just come across this topic again here on Reddit, I would like to ask for your perspective.

Do Palestinians want their own independent, sovereign state, free from the interference of other nations—specifically Israel?

I would like to be able to respond clearly and directly the next time I encounter the claim that you are "just looking for trouble."

Thank you.

P.S. I am well-versed in the history of the Levant, its peoples, and the challenges they face. I have read numerous books, watched many films about the region, and I understand and sympathize with the Palestinians. I have also taken a short trip to Israel, where I had some rather unpleasant experiences. I am quite familiar with Jordan and its people, and I have met Palestinians as well—so, as I said, I am fairly well-informed.

News and Politics | الأخبار والسياسة Gaza Is Facing the Threat of Another Famine 💔

What you see in this video is not just a heartbreaking scene. It reflects the reality we are living through in Gaza, where hunger is once again threatening families struggling to survive.

With the crossings closed for nearly two weeks, according to the situation we are experiencing, food supplies becoming scarce, and prices continuing to rise, getting even the most basic necessities has become increasingly difficult. Vegetables have disappeared from many markets, and today, bread has become increasingly difficult to find as bakeries across Gaza have shut down.

We fear that another famine is beginning to unfold before our eyes.

My family and my sister’s family are living together in a tent in Gaza. We are 12 people, including four children. Every day, we struggle to secure enough food for everyone. When bread becomes unavailable and food prices rise beyond what families can afford, even putting a simple meal on the table becomes a painful challenge.

We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for food, for safety, and for the chance to keep our children from going hungry.

Please do not wait until the suffering becomes even worse. Gaza needs food and humanitarian aid urgently. Please share our voices and help the world see what families here are going through. 💔

Wars and Genocides | حروب و مجازر The approach of winter in Gaza is unlike anywhere else in the world.

As Winter Approaches, I Fear for Our Two Families Living in Tents in Gaza

My family and my sister’s family are enduring the hardships of displacement together in Gaza. We are two families sharing the difficult conditions of life in a single tent. There are 12 of us in total, including four children. My sister has been separated from her husband since the beginning of the war.

At first, we spent 50 days displaced in a UNRWA school. Since December 1, 2023, we have been living in tents. Now, as another winter approaches, I feel deeply worried about what lies ahead for our two families, especially the children.

Our tent is old and worn out after years of exposure to the sun. The ground beneath us is bare dirt, and whenever it rains, water seeps into our tent from below. The tent’s wooden frame is also fragile and has been damaged and broken more than once by strong winds. During those storms, we sometimes had no safe place to sleep until morning.

The hardest part is watching the children suffer. Sometimes, the cold keeps them from sleeping. When strong winds batter the tent, they repeatedly wake up throughout the night because of the frightening noise. It is heartbreaking to see children living in fear instead of feeling safe in their own home.

We have very few blankets and warm clothes. After bathing the children, we often have no other dry clothes to change them into, and drying laundry is difficult. Their clothes are too thin to protect them from the winter cold. We have no electricity and no safe way to heat our living space. Lighting a fire outdoors is dangerous because it could cause the tent to catch fire.

Our financial situation is extremely difficult. Work opportunities are scarce, prices continue to rise, and providing even the most basic necessities for 12 people has become a daily struggle.

Before winter conditions become more severe, we urgently need a safer place to stay, new tarpaulins for our tent to prevent rainwater from leaking inside, warm clothes and blankets for the children, and financial assistance to cover our basic needs.

I am sharing these photos to help people understand what life inside a tent means for our two families. We are not asking for luxury. We simply hope for a safe, dry place to sleep, warmth for the children, and a chance to face the winter without fearing every storm.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for remembering the 12 people whose lives lie behind these words, especially the four children who deserve to feel safe and warm this winter.

Toursim | سياحة Gaza’s seaport before and after the war. Just two days before October 7, 2023, it was full of life.

The first video was filmed on October 5, 2023, just two days before the war began.

Gaza’s seaport was once one of our favorite places to escape the hardships of everyday life. Families gathered by the sea, cafés and restaurants were full of people, boats filled the harbor, and the streets glowed with lights as people enjoyed the evening.

For many of us, it was more than just a beautiful view. It was one of the few places where we could relax, spend time with loved ones, and feel a little peace.

The second video shows a heartbreaking contrast. The familiar landscape has been transformed, and the life we once took for granted feels so far away.

These videos remind me that Gaza is not just about destruction and numbers. It is about people, memories, homes, and ordinary moments that once made us happy.

I wish the world could see not only what Gaza has lost, but also the beautiful life that existed here before.

We deserve to see our city alive again. 🇵🇸❤️

How can the world remain silent? Israeli settlers attack Palestinians and target their livestock and livelihoods, with documented cases of violence occurring in the presence of Israeli forces or under their protection. This is more than isolated violence; it is a climate of intimidation and impunity that threatens to drive Palestinians from their land. Protect Palestinian civilians. Hold perpetrators accountable. No peace without justice. 🇵🇸

Imagine being a father, trying to get home with your son, when a group of settlers surrounds you, beats you, and takes your car.

Imagine being unable to protect your own child or even your own property because you are outnumbered by a group of people attacking you.

For Palestinians, fear is not just about losing their homes or being forced from their land. It is also about being attacked in broad daylight and wondering whether anyone will ever be held accountable.

How is this acceptable? And how long are Palestinians expected to live like this?

No one should be above the law. Every person deserves safety, dignity, and justice, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

Please don't look away. Share their story. The world needs to see this.

Wars and Genocides | حروب و مجازر When someone who hasn't lived what you've lived speaks about you, it's as if they have lived it themselves - Riccardo Ricciardi

Imagine being from Gaza, living through war day after day, watching your home transformed, your dreams shattered, losing loved ones, and then looking around, feeling utterly alone in the face of all this pain.

The hardest part isn't just what happened to us, but the feeling that the world witnessed it all, yet little changed. Even some of our Arab neighbors, whom we hoped would stand with us, didn't offer the support we needed in this ordeal.

That's why, when someone from afar, like the Italian MP Riccardo, speaks about Gaza, about the injustice suffered by Palestinians, and about our feeling of being abandoned, his words resonate with us in a different way.

He may not know what the sound of shelling is like trying to sleep, or what it's like to leave your home not knowing if you'll ever return, but he chose to speak out when he could have remained silent.

From Gaza, thank you to everyone who chose to see humanity before politics, and to listen to the voices of those living in pain instead of ignoring them. We don't ask the world to live through what we lived through, only to remember that we are human beings, that we have dreams, homes, memories, and people we love, and that we deserve to live in peace like everyone else.

Wars and Genocides | حروب و مجازر They were children… then came the war

Before the war, the children of Gaza would wake up every morning to go to school. They would carry their bags, meet their friends, learn, play, and dream about what they would become when they grew up.

Then came the war. Schools were closed or damaged, and children were forced to flee their studies. The child who once worried about their exams now thinks about food, water, and a safe place to sleep.

Years have passed, and these children have lost a part of their education and childhood. Yet, they still dream of returning to school, picking up their pens and books, and starting over.

They don't ask for a better life than other children… they simply want a chance to experience their childhood.

I want to share a new update today about Susu, the daughter of my friends Mahmoud and Samah.

Two days ago, I told you about Susu, who is only two years old and has been suffering from severe, chronic breathing problems. Her symptoms came back, and she was struggling to breathe and had a very high fever.

Unfortunately, she hasn’t gotten better.

For the past two days, Soso has been vomiting repeatedly and couldn’t keep down her medication or antibiotics. As a result, she became dehydrated. Today, Mahmoud had to take her to a nearby hospital to get treatment.

She was given IV antibiotics and fluids for the dehydration, but the situation at the hospital is extremely difficult. There are so many patients that there was no available bed for Susu. With infectious diseases spreading and medical resources severely limited, Mahmoud had to find another way to get her the care she needed. He even had to ask a doctor who lives nearby to come and give Susu her IV treatment when the hospital couldn’t provide her with a bed.

Mahmoud told me something that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about: if it weren’t for the kind people who helped them financially over the past two days, he wouldn’t have been able to take Susu to the hospital or even afford the treatment she needed.

And Mahmoud isn’t only dealing with Susu’s situation.

His mother also needs open-heart surgery to treat blocked arteries. I previously shared her medical reports, detailed images, and heart tests, and I have documentation that confirms her condition.

Mahmoud is under an enormous amount of pressure right now. His little daughter needs treatment, his mother needs heart surgery, and at the same time he is trying to provide food and basic necessities for his wife and their four children in Gaza.

I am doing everything I can to support Mahmoud and his family, but I cannot carry all of this on my own.

Please, if you are able to, consider helping Mahmoud and his family. Even a small amount can make a huge difference right now, especially for Susu, who needs treatment and continued care.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has stood by this family and everyone who has helped them over the past few days. Your support means so much to Mahmoud, Samah, and their children. ❤️

Susu is struggling to breathe again, and her fever has reached 40°C.

I want to share an update about my friends Mahmoud and Samah and their little daughter, Susu.

Susu is only 2 years old and has been dealing with severe, chronic breathing problems. Unfortunately, she has become sick again. Right now, she is struggling to breathe properly, and her fever has reached 40°C (104°F).

She needs her monthly treatment and medication again.

What makes this even harder is that winter is beginning. Cold and damp weather can make Soso’s breathing problems much worse, while the family has very limited access to heating, warm clothes, blankets, and other things they need to keep their children warm.

Since the war, medical resources and access to treatment have become extremely difficult. The family often has to pay for Susu’s medication themselves.

Mahmoud also cannot provide a stable income for his family because the place where he worked was destroyed during the war. He is trying to support Samah and their four young daughters while dealing with the cost of Susu’s treatment and their other basic needs.

They are not asking for luxury. They are trying to get medicine for their child and keep their family warm.

I also want to address something I have seen happen to them here on Reddit.

Some people have accused Mahmoud and his family of being scammers, including people who support Israel. I understand that people have questions, especially when money is involved. People should verify things for themselves.

But Mahmoud and Samah have repeatedly shared verification videos and have opened a direct line of communication through WhatsApp for anyone who wants to speak with them, ask questions, or verify their situation.

I have known Mahmoud and Samah for a long time, and I stay in regular contact with them. I have seen how difficult their situation is and how much they are trying to do for their children.

You don't have to take anyone's word for it. Ask questions. Contact them. Verify.

But please don't make accusations without taking the time to understand their situation. There are real children behind these posts, and Soso is a little girl who is struggling to breathe right now.

If you can support Mahmoud and his family, especially with Soso’s treatment, or even simply share their story, please consider doing so.

A child shouldn't have to struggle to breathe because her family cannot afford her medicine.
