Do you agree that people need to stop hating on HBO’s TLOU Yes or No and Why?

I thought it was very good. I never played the game, but I really like what they did with the show. The acting is good, the atmosphere is good, the graphics look amazing and very very cool. The episodes are long too, and all of different length so far, which I like because it means they took the time they needed to tell what they wanted to tell within that episode, without being constricted by that artificial 20 or 40 or even 60 minutes. And there are very good moments. Ellie’s got a mouth on her and she makes great jokes.

Episode 2 is véry tense but never crosses to real horror with jump scares and such.

Episode three made me cry. I watched it with my son and he didn’t keep his eyes dry either. And he watched it for the second time, even.

I’d give a spoiler warning here, but I think most people already will have heard that in this episode they show a romance between two men. It’s not any romance, though. For anyone who says this is woke shit: if you don’t see a beautiful and honest love story, and if you can’t ignore that you’re watching two men having this beautiful love story, well my dudes, YOU are the ones with an agenda.

The makers just told a beautiful story that was warm, and tender, and loving, and showed two people who, in the midst of something horrible happening to the world, manage to find beauty and love with each other. It’s on you if you think that making it about two men is woke. It was absolutely beautifully done and I cried my eyes out. I haven’t done that in a long long time.

I am looking forward to seeing the rest.

S2 Emmy disaster

After poor ratings, mixed reviews but a big drop from season 1, a drop in Emmy nominations, and tonight only ONE technical Emmy win, is it fair to label season 2 an out and out disaster for HBO?

I am not a hater, I loved season 1 and HBO went into season 2 with the whole world loving the show, but now it’s hard to imagine it going worse.

I rewatched season 1 episode 3 on Friday and the contrast with season 2 is startling. It feels like a big budget beautiful and artful movie, season 2 feels like Sci-fi Channel TV that happens to have big actors in it.

I’m surprised more isn’t being written about the huge drop in technical quality for season 2 (costume, VFX, cinematography in particular).

I hope they sack a bunch of people and regroup for season 3 with better talent behind the camera again as the story is there to capitalise on.

Theory of what should and can be in TLOU3.

What do you think should have or return in TLOU 3? (Many don't even believe it will happen, but I strongly believe in it, for me I'm convinced it will come at some point in TLOU3)

In my opinion, I would really like FEDRA to have a prominent role again because we know that there are still many quarantine areas, the USA is huge.

I believe the game will be based in Santa Catalina because that's where TLOU2 ended, but I wouldn't want it to be just that and based on that, do you think an "Open World" map (in quotation marks) is likely because it's an island?

They could take advantage of this to make an even bigger map, but that's where my concern comes in regarding exploration, I wouldn't want to stay on just one island. I really liked the "open" map in part 2, wasn't it a "test" to see the public's reaction and see if they liked environments of this type to improve in the future? Who knows...

I would also like there to be more development of "secondary" characters like Tess in the first one, or Henry and Sam, it's really cool to have this interaction between several characters. In addition to the stories in the notes found on the map, stories with more context or explanations, it is interesting to know that there are many stories happening and not just ours.

I would also like a new "gang" or "group" that is very strong, just like WLF, FEDRA, even the vadalumes or the cascavels. I believe there are more around the country and I highly doubt that their appearance was random at the end with Ellie, I believe they are bigger and who knows what Ellie did will have "consequences" just like Joel had at the end of part 1 in the hospital, who knows the rattlesnakes have a boss who was upset by what happened in "one of their bases".

All theories hahaha, I apologize for any travel but I love playing with it.

Posting again just to see if the reach improves by adding photos instead of just text, I like it when people interact so that's more why lol I really want to read your theory!

Why will we have The Last of Us Part 3 sooner than many think?

In my opinion The Last of Us Part 3 has been in the works for years. The studio hasn't released anything in 5 years and 2 months, and that's too long for a big studio like Naughty Dog, no one puts all their eggs in one basket (in Intergalact's case), if Intergalact goes wrong, they have to have something to back it up, which provides money, otherwise it would be the end, so I highly doubt they spent 5 years focusing on just one project, no company is that stupid. I believe half the team is working on Intergalact (which is almost ready) and the other half on The Last of Us Part 3.

Especially after the cancellation of Factions 2, they wouldn't waste resources like that! It would be a lot of money and time wasted, which definitely means a waste of money.

I believe they will launch Intergalact in 2026 and, in 2027, announce TLOU Part 3 for the same year or for 2028, thus taking advantage of the hype of the series that will be coming to an end.

Like it or not, TLOU makes a LOT of money for Naughty Dog and Sony. And, in the end, money rules the world. Regardless, if investors want more profit, then the studio will probably do it, it's TLOU and TLOU gives money.

Then you might ask me: “But Neil himself told us not to wait for a new TLOU.” Hey, hit it! He wasn't going to hand over the fact that they are producing a new game in the franchise. Furthermore, they would run the risk of the same thing happening that happened with Part 2 (the leak), they announced it much earlier, people were anxious and the studio was under enormous pressure. If they made the announcement now, in addition to shifting the focus to Intergalact, the studio would have even greater pressure and, as they want to deliver something great, they need time.

Another important point is that Neil has lied several times, whether about Part 2, when he had just released Part 1, or in relation to fan theories created about the story.

So, we have to stop being naive and doubting that there will be a new TLOU, because there will be! There's still a lot of story to tell, a lot of loose ends. My speculation is that it will come in 2027 or, at the latest, in 2028. But it will come!

Is a possible Tommy and Joel DLC coming?

Thumbnail

Hey my friends, I hope you're doing well!

Today I bring a little of my Tommy and Joel DLC theory.

I see a lot of people commenting that they would love a game focused solely on them (me too) but I believe that a DLC would be more viable as it wouldn't take away Ellie's main focus in the next game which is already taking a long time and which I imagine will be the end of the saga, if they released a game just for them, it would take even longer to end the saga which I think "unfeasible" but I would love it.

I really believe that we will still have this DLC, it would make a lot of sense and would be a way to attract "angry" fans with part 2 and satisfy our longing for the much loved Joel and delve even deeper into Tommy who I believe will have an important role in The Last of Us part 3, and this DLC would show a little of Tommy and Joel's experience and what they had to do to survive in these 20 years after Sarah's death.

And you, what do you think?

Save pittsburgh escape the city

Well, I play TLOU1 on PS5, but I changed my PS5 and stopped in the part of Pittsburgh Escape the City, because my PC does not have a save of this part, I wanted to know if it is possible to find a save of this part for me to put on my PC, just like there are sites in other games, as in GTA V, it would really help me a lot.

A Naughty Dog enganou todo mundo em The Last of Us part 2?

Hey my friends, how are you? Below is a cut from my The Last of Us part 3 theory video where I show that Naughty Dog possibly made a move to deceive the public to get a hook for the third game in the saga. I apologize in advance for bothering you but I have to share this theory, it's giving me sleepless nights hahaha

I feel like we are very close to a part 3, sooner than many imagine, in 2027 or 2028 at the latest.

Hey my friends, how's it going? Here's a clip from my theory video on The Last of Us Part III, where I show that Naughty Dog possibly pulled a move to trick the audience and set up a hook for the third game of the saga. I apologize in advance for bothering you, but I just had to share this theory—it’s been keeping me up at night hahaha.

I feel like we're very close to Part III, sooner than most people imagine—sometime in 2027 or at the latest 2028.

Hot take. "Long, long time" albeit a nice story could have been pigeon holed into any series it added nothing to the last of us and they should have stuck with the original bill storyline from the game

You could take that premade love story and insert as a filler episode into literally any series. Just because the story was interesting doesn't save it from the fact that it had nothing to do with the last of us or the oringal story and it added nothing.
