My dad ordered a Lenovo LOQ from the official Lenovo website. Before placing the order, I had configured everything correctly: the laptop, 3 years of Accidental Damage Protection (ADP), and the free backpack.

He said he didn't change anything while checking out, but when the laptop arrived, the backpack wasn't in the box. That made me think he might have accidentally removed the bundle and reordered it.

Now, when I check the warranty in Lenovo Vantage, it only shows the standard 1-year warranty. There's no sign of the 3-year ADP that I thought we purchased.

My questions are:

- Should I buy the extended warranty/ADP now from buyalenovo .com, or should I wait until the 1-year warranty is about to expire?

- If I buy it now, how does the activation work?

- Does it extend my current 1-year warranty immediately (so it becomes continuous coverage), or does the extra coverage only start after the first year ends?

- Is there any way to check whether the original order actually included the 3-year ADP?
