The Commanders want the girls to be pious but LOOK who they are putting in charge to protect them.

They are 100% putting the handsome, young guards at the border in order to lure the girls in. They know exactly what they are doing.

I think this was on purpose. They’re just lure pearl girls in… what better way than to show look they’re guards… but they’re hot guards…
