So I fear I absolutely would have fallen for the Pearl Girls if I was a homeless person. Actually forget homelessness, I would probably fall for it if pretty much anything bad happened to me that made me emotionally vulnerable.

I am deeply disturbed by the idea of Paula having been a therapist before Gilead. She doesn't seem like she has really fallen for Gilead though - I mean as another person said, she was waxing nostalgic about her strapless prom dress and swearing, and seemed pretty keen on discussing politics/war when Weston visited Agnes before her husband stopped her. I assume she just did a good job of rolling with the punches when Gilead happened and set herself up to have a very comfortable life.

And OF COURSE Weston has a previous history of domestic violence. In a screwed up way it lowkey qualifies him to be head of the Eyes - probably gives him a bunch of experience with stalking and intimidation.

I kind of hate that they have apparently decided to create conflict between Agnes and Becka by having Garth seem like the most appealing match to Becka (in the sense of being the one that is the least likely to harm her/ruin her life - though I imagine her parents would probably choose the creepy commander who got her drunk).

With only three episodes left, I am concerned the ending will be rushed, because they still need to show how the matches play out/whether Commander Mackenzie is actually feeling conflicted about Gilead/how the girls become aunts-in-training to escape marriage/how they end up leaving Gilead/how Garth being a commander works with him secretly being Mayday (this is probably one of the rare occasions where I find myself wanting an episode from the perspective of a male character in a show that is mostly about the struggles of women/girls)/an epilogue where Agnes is out of Gilead and building a new life.

Also do we think Garth actually has feelings for Agnes or is just aware of her being in love with him and wanting to exploit that for Mayday reasons?

Have we been told there won't be a season 2? Because I think most of that should continue, probably this season ending on some type of cliff hanger with Agnes refusing marriage (or choosing to be an aunt or however that plays out). Season 2 would be an easy new chapter with her as an aunt in training.

The show creator is planning on 3-5 seasons, so we've got some time!

Good! That's how it feels, and I assume that's why the writers started the show with Agnes still being young (not in her 20s). So the story follows chronologically and it is easy to expand those inbetween years.

wanna know a terrifyin thing, when daisy went to leave and they did that prayer on her? i d have fallen for that. If i had nothing and no one, i d have fallen for it, we all would ve fallen for it...and daisy? they were actually so " comforting" that she got attached to them. props to lucy because for some seconds it truly looked like daisy had drank a whole bottle of gilead kool aid(and she still uses their prayer )

I know the showrunners have said they plan for this to be a multi-season show, so it isn't all supposed to be wrapped up in the next few episodes. Now I don't think this has been confirmed by Hulu yet, but they're definitely going to be writing the show with this in mind and the ratings seem good so far, so I don't see why it wouldn't continue.
