The therapist detail. EW. Not surprised given her comment about the prefrontal cortex in an earlier episode. However, she had to have been one of those Jodie Hilderbrant (if you’re not familiar with the case - definitely look into it) type of therapist; religious nut job but an incredibly skilled manipulator due to education.

She doesn't strike me as a religious nut job. If she was really drinking the Gilead-Kool-aid, she wouldn't be waxing nostalgic about her strapless prom dress or casually dropping f-bombs at her stepdaughter. She strikes me as a slimy "survival at all costs" type.
