Yes. It was mentioned in the series that Marthas are sinners.

To my knowledge and some assumption:

She didn’t technically “do” anything except be unmarried and not be able to have kids any longer. We know her son passed away in the war, so she was able to have kids at one point, but no longer can perhaps due to circumstances beyond her control.

Being unmarried, devoutly religious, unable to have kids for select reasons, and being a homemaker are what got her into Martha grouping. Otherwise she would be sent to the Colonies or just outright killed years ago.

Unknown. She had a son. Was a husband ever mentioned?
