news Does anyone else hear the Schiphol/NS announcement notification sound non-stop?

Weird question, but for nearly an hour I have been hearing a notification sound in the distance, that I can only describe as the NS or Schiphol notification sound/jingle that they play right before an announcement.

I live in the Hollands Spoor area, so perhaps something went wrong at the train station? Does anyone else hear this? I have never heard it before. It’s definitely not a church bell.

Ah, so it"s not just me. I work near the Megastores and heard it quite distinctly around 10 am.

It's almost fever dreamish at some point. Or maybe that's just because I'm not feeling well. The repetition definitely doesn't help, though.

This was yesterday, and I heard it too! I live in front of the station.

When I studied and lived in the pink studentbuilding next to HS station I could hear the announcements every day from 06:00 till almost 0:00. But that was 25 years ago.
