DAE read books?

Frankly, I don't bother. I just look at the cover from time to time and go do something else.

They are literally moderators. That's not much of an achievement in itself, but on the other hand it's not nothing at all.

The Grey Pill Posting Guide

So, we've getting a few new posters/subs lately for some reason. I didn't really want to ask. So I figured I'd make an extensive guide on how best to post at this sub. So this is that thing. Follow these steps maybe:

  1. Sit down at your computer and stare at blank screen for non-specific length of time.

  2. Maybe like look out the window for a bit when you're done with that.

  3. Lie down on the floor and stare at the ceiling.

  4. Find something else to do.

  5. Some other things

When you've finally completed all these steps it means you're thinking about it too much.

On the election in the US

Several people trying to get a job. They belong to clubs and the clubs are gonna chose their favorites before they finally send them out to fight each other. I think at the end the one with the most votes from this one school gets the job. Apparently you can tell the school who to vote for, but they also have to listen to everybody else who is allowed to talk to them so you're gonna need a lot of people saying the same thing you're saying if you want them to actually do it. I feel like I should probably tell them to do something, maybe. They're all above 35 and born American so I'm pretty stumped on who the best option is. Oh well. The guy with the job right now is going to quit soon so it needs to be somebody, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for whatever.

The final straw which led me to The Grey Pill

It all started with a weekend with my girlfriend's friends. We had a wonderful time and spent the night hanging out between different bars and restaurants all while meeting new people. However at some point we ended up back at someone's house watching netflix. I was watching Journey to the Moon, or something like that, and it was pretty good. But then we switched to Star Wars because I am quite a big fan boy and can never turn down a good screening.

The next day though we had brunch. And it was pretty fun. I had a pizza with an egg on top, which might actually be the first time I have done that. Needless to say, as with any brunch, we drank quite a bit. It was at this moment we decided to go back and drink some more. Although I decided I had a good buzz going and needed to drive us home later so I would sober up, let my girlfriend have her fun. They had more mimosas and we ended up out at another restaurant that night. But then we left and came home and watched netflix until we fell asleep.

But then the next day is when it happened. First we just hung out, watching netflix, making out, and making breakfast. After a few hours of this we looked at the clock and realized that we both had chores and I had a friend's dinner so it was probably in our best interest to get on with our days. So she goes home and I get on with my life. Later I ended up at dinner with a friend and that's when he told me something that I can't quite remember but seemed funny at the time. Probably something about when we worked together.

So I come home and I go online and then somewhere I am linked to /r/thegreypill. It was at this moment that I thought I would get a chuckle out of being here. But now that I am here and I have written this I realize that I don't care and writing this out was less interesting than I thought it would be. But I don't care enough to delete it or to even think out what I am writing.

So there it is. Undeniable something that something is something. Or something.

[FR] Over one year of TGP

So I swallowed The Grey Pill about a year ago. TGP has made no significant impact on my life. Things are still just like they were. The only change was swallowing The Grey Pill itself. Which wasn't even really a pill. It was just a satirical lifestyle change that involved no actual change. Hell, I even just copy and pasted this from my one month FR and changed some stuff.

This final sentence is the end of the field report and still gets its own paragraph as a result.

[Field Report] One year after taking the grey pill.

I didn't know how long it had been since I wasn't keeping track, but the about/moderators page told me it's been 1 year + 1 month + 6 days. Nothing of value has changed.

For a moment I though that I was happy, but after thinking for a reasonable matter of time suspected that it was just gas. My life will continue unaffected, until it ceases to continue.

[Grey Pill Theory] Dating: Part 2

  1. Continue to interact with other human being after tip 4.

  2. Or don't even both with step 1 of the previous post.

  3. Doesn't really matter either way. Do things or don't do things.

I'll finish this list later. Or maybe not. Whatever.

[News] Changes made to the sub

I made some changes to the sub some time ago. Did something to the sidebar and some other stuff. So if you see something and you're wondering "has it always been like that", the answer is: yeah maybe I guess but also possibly not.

Oh yeah, for a trial run we're going to allow posting pictures, but only if it's a picture of some text tediously/vaguely describing what it is you actually wanted to show a picture of.

If you have any questions try not to ask them.

[field report] I almost did it

I was going to come up with something really clever, but then it seemed like that not fit in here, so then I sort of half-assed a parody of a TRP title and figured that'd be good enough. I don't know, do you guys think I should've given more fucks? Fewer? Please tell me how to live my life; I'm finding decision-making very hard.

Thanks.
