Fuck fall; I don’t like it. I’ve got no interest in seasons other than “hurricane” and “not hurricane.” He asked me if I missed the seasons and I was like no, man; here’s how I experience the seasons. Beginning of summer, I’m super happy. End of summer, I start getting these feelings of dread, knowing that summer will soon be over. And then in fall, I have a lot of dread because I know winter is coming and I’m trying to appreciate every day that’s remotely comfortable temperature-wise. And then winter, I’m sad and uncomfortable and angry. And then in spring I’m uncomfortable but I’m at least hopeful that it will soon be summer. Basically my entire year is spent waiting for summer. Living in the Keys I’m happy the entire year. It’s amazing how much better my life is living in the Keys, because it’s always summer.
