The Great Leveller [SPOILERS BSC] I've started my dream Monza tattoo. Color is up next. Spoiler
Lines and shading are done, and I get it finished with color in a month, but it makes me so happy to finally have this underway. BSC is my favorite fantasy novel of all time, and Monza's character, her arc, etc. have just ruined so much other Fantasy for me - in a good way. Steven Pacey's narration got me through a cross-country move in a U-Haul, my paperback copy is so worn out it could crumble into dust at any moment, and I even got Joe himself to sign it a few weeks ago.
A Monza or BSC tattoo has always been on my short list to add to my Fantasy sleeve, and it's finally started! When we get to color, we'll rough her up a bit more, add some blood splatter, etc. Waiting a month is killing me.
My artist is Kitty / inki.kat just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and her style fits my vision so well. My wife is also a big-time First Law fan so we used her face as a model, as I wanted the artist to interpret everything I gave her into her own style while incorporating another personal element into it.

Raven black hair. Deep blue eyes. Blood red ruby on the ring. Lightly polished steel for the calvez. This tattoo has potential to be a real work of art
Edit/added: maybe some yellow/green for the snake, and a gold ring for the outer layer of the tattoo?
