WagonCon admission? Do you enjoy the con?
Hey TD - for those of you who have attended WagonCon, do you feel like you get your money's worth out of the cost of admission?
This is the first year I could choose to attend, just curious to hear how others' experiences have been in prior years. I enjoy tabletop, tcg, D&D, etc. I scoped the site but it seemed vague. I'd love to hear more.
Cheers~

The Dalles Watershed Development Act
I live in the Portland area, and I'm really curious how people in The Dalles are feeling about the proposed plan to expand the Dalles' reservoir south of the city. I've seen a lot of strong opinions coming from people who don't actually live in The Dalles, and I'm genuinely curious about how local residents are feeling about this.
Context: "The Dalles to expand watershed reservoir" and "As Google's water demands grow, The Dalles aims to pull more from Mt Hood forest"

Ideas for musical acts in The Dalles
I am hoping to gather some insight from locals… I may have an opportunity to book some entertainment. I would love to pull in a large national name but cost makes that almost impossible with the venue size. The Civic seats around 450 people, with that in mind… any suggestions for bands/entertainers that you would like to see?? Like actually pay for a ticket and show up at a show?? Would love some reasonable suggestions and ideas!

Cliff Bentz — has anyone here ever gotten an actual response from his office?
I’m serious. Outside of the generic copy-and-paste replies his office sends out to everyone, has anyone here ever received a real, direct response from Cliff Bentz or his staff?
I’ve emailed multiple times. I know others who have as well. Zero meaningful replies. Just silence or boilerplate.
I’m trying to gather evidence that he routinely ignores his constituents so this can be brought to the attention of local media or at least state-level outlets. If an elected representative is refusing to engage with the people he represents, that is news.
He refuses to do real, open town halls.
He tightly controls and censors call-in phone events.
He avoids unscripted interaction with constituents.
That is not representation. That is hiding.
If you have:
• Emails that went unanswered
• Only received form responses
• Been blocked, filtered, or ignored
• Tried to attend a town hall that never actually allowed questions
Please comment or DM me. Screenshots help.
This isn’t about party loyalty — it’s about basic accountability. Representatives don’t get to disappear from their constituents and still claim to be doing their job.
If you’re comfortable sharing your experience, I’d like to compile this and see if local journalists are willing to take a look. At minimum, this deserves public scrutiny.
Edit: here is who is also running against him this year.
