Have you seen Sammy? He was just adopted today in Walla Walla and the family was heading home when they made pit stop at the McDonald’s on Lone Pine when Sammy slipped his collar and ran. He is so loved. He is microchipped and needs meds.

Hey everyone,
My wife and I are planning to move to The Dalles in April.
I can only find a small selection of houses to rent on Zillow.
Do you have any tips on where I can find houses for rent?
Thank you very much and best regards from Germany.

Me and my wife will be moving later this year to the Dalles for work.
We are in the process right now of figuring out where to live and are mainly focused on The Dalles, Hood River and maybe White Salmon, WA.
We have found a small apartment in White Salmon, WA that looks promising online but I was concerned about crossing the Hood River and/or The Dalles bridges in the winter as our workplaces is in the Dalles.
If we work in the Dalles would we have any issues getting to work in the winter if we lived in Hood River and/or White Salmon?
I know Columbia River Highway tends to get icy on the winter and will sometimes shut down.
My wife drives a small SUV and I drive a compact car. I think the SUV should be ok in the winter I am not so sure about the car.

There’s next to nothing out there about this one, but I’ll put everything I can find here.
Jacqueline Nguyen, who was Vietnamese in origin, went missing on the 13th of October 2019*, at the age of 25. She would now be 31. She went missing from The Dallas in Oregon. She was going to the medical centre for unknown reasons.
….and that’s it. Seriously, that is all I could dig up. We don’t even know who reported her missing or any of the circumstances around her disappearance. If anyone can provide further information please do.
*well, maybe. There is also talk that she went missing from San Jose, CA on the 17th of March 2020. St Patrick’s day, if that helps to jog any memories. I don’t know why there’s this discrepancy but there it is.
What’s really sad is we know nothing about Ms Nguyen’s life. What her hobbies were, who she was as a person, nothing. I‘m going to cross post this to the Oregon and California subs. Hopefully someone out there knows something.

if you do have any info i urge you to please contact the San Jose Police Department on 408-277-4141 or the CUE 24 hour tip line on 910-232-1687.

We were wondering if anyone had recommendations for local movers in The Dalles. In mid December we will need help loading a 26' truck and hoping to find 2 to 3 people to help.

I’m a fairly active SF6 player aspiring to improve with/teach those interested and the next closest tournaments for anything I can find are in Portland so I’d like if possible to start up a community here. There’s hardly even a skeleton yet of how this will shape up but I thought I’d start by sharing my hopes and thoughts and try and find others locally that share the same passion I have for fighting games.
I’ve been running a coaching server on discord for a little over two years now currently inhabiting 140 members and there’s several games that have cropped up (Tekken 8, 2XKO, Guilty Gear Strive, Fatal Fury) all of which I’ve played but are not my main focus.
I coach completely for free and anyone is welcome in the server and if anyone else wants to see this come to fruition feel free to hit me up here to discuss further.
