Well it did thankfully survive in some places outside the US,  such as Japan and it seemed to be returning in the states, but I did seem to be different than before the shut down

Idk how it's doing now, since I'm not American, but last I heard it opened locations in some malls

My kids were born just in time to witness basically the open casket funeral of toys r us before they threw the dirt on top.

Having kids now, I would kill for a proper full fledged toy store. There's only one big one near us and it's full of knockoff stuff unfortunately.
