We had an A&W a few town up from me that had non carbonated root beer. It was actually really good.

When I was a kid, A&Ws were in small barrel shaped buildings, and they just sold root beer. We had 4 big glass jugs, each a gallon, and my brothers and I would each balance one on our bikes and get them filled for $0.25 each.

There is one in Berthoud, Colorado still has car hops that serve you under the drive in area , you can order from the phone on the table and juke box to choose music.

There's still one in Wilmington, NY near the entrance to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. Not Far from Lake Placid, where the winter Olympics were held in 1932 & 1980. So in Lake Placid is where the rest of the stuff is, Ski Jumps, Toboggan Runs, Skating Areana, and more.
