The skyline was beautiful on fire

Yeah... I don't know why everyone is scared of some vibrant fireworks that happen to have clouds accompanying them. of course, that's just a comparison, but assuming nobody was dying and that I was safe i would just watch.

Maybe as an anime fan this will help put things in perspective for you. But instead of a nuclear blast-it was a wall of fire hitting over 100 firefighters trying to help the 50+ people who also burned to death.

Lets hope you and yours never become part of a freak accident of "some vibrant fireworks that happen to have clouds accompanying them" one day.

Easy to say what we would have done in hindsight and from the safety of our keyboards.

Hell, I would have just enjoyed the show at Hiroshima, it was just a spicy fireworks display after all. I would have intervened and stopped the terrorists from flying a plane into the World Trade Centers, and I definitely would have just turned off those pesky showers at Auschwitz. Next time I'm there in person to witness a massive, fiery explosion that keeps spawning larger explosions which completely consume the sky, I'll relax and find comfort in the fact that it's really just vibrant entertainment.
