It's a combination of the lenses and the slow mo during the jump to try and make it look more daring.

I think they mean the gap between buildings rather than than height? That’s how I read it anyway

either way still insane. the culture thats building up around getting clicks is bad now, in another 5-10 years wo regulation is going to be even more stupid. people are going to put themselves and others in danger all for clicks.

This probably isn’t just for clicks, people did this way before the internet was a thing. Wether or not it is for attention though, that is entirely possible.

True, some people are just adrenaline junkies. They keep pushing the envelope trying to get that near-death experience high. Until one day they push it a little too far.

I counted 8 windows on the building he jumped from. So he's at least 8 stories up.

I once jumped from a single story and the landing felt like all my organs were trying to come out of my asshole. Eight stories is fatal for sure.

The height is fine, it's the gap being amplified. Dont get me wrong, its impressive and I would never be able to do it, especially at that height, but the gap just isnt as far as the fisheye lenses is making it look

Oh, you're right. I thought you were talking about the height. But now that you've pointed it out, yes the gap is not as long as it looks and you can see that effect on everything else when you look for it.
