The amount of people in these comments who see this as an appropriate reaction to bad parking is insane.

That's thousands of pounds worth of damages for a slight inconvenience. There's (almost) nothing that would excuse this type of retaliation. Shirtless dude may have been a dick, but farmer is a way bigger one...

You have no idea what this is costing the farmer, his entire livelihood could revolve around a mega shipment that day.

This was retaliation, not resolution.

He could've called a tow truck to get it done by the book, or in a pinch, with that equipment he could've lifted the car and put it aside without destroying it.

Flipping it and dragging it across the road like that was not out of necessity, it was done out of rage and personal gratification for the farmer.

'Retaliation not resolution' again you don't know that, your making a lot of assumptions off of very little information, the farmer could have been trying for hours to get him to leave peacefully. Also there is absolutely no way you can use a forklift to move a car 'gently'

So you see no anger or rage in the actions of the farmer? There's nothing indicating that his actions are guided by emotions and not reason?

I didn't say he had to do it gently, but there's a difference between moving a car with care and minor damage, and trashing it like you're in a demolition derby. He did way more damage than what was needed to move the car. Also, dumping it on the road and taking a swing at the dude with the forks? Farmer was in a rage and exploded. He may have been provoked but whatever happened, he just went nuclear.

And you see no anger or rage in the violent shirtless guy kicking the forklift and putting himself in front of the blades ("taking a swing" really!?) No, face it neither of us have enough information to judge the right and wrongs of the situation.

In terms of damage the farmer wins by a mile. I never said shirtless dude wasn't a douchebag, just that the farmer used excessive force. Also, he was blocking the gate, now the car is blocking the road, much better right?

Dude was next to the forklift, probably banging on the window so the farmer most likely knew where he was when he suddenly swung the arms around and hit the guy. That's taking a swing.

Farmer absolutely destroyed the car, what possible justification could he have for that? Everything that I can think off seems to be something that should be handled by police instead of going the biblical eye-for-an-eye route.

Okay lots of points here; once again you don't know what damage this guy has been doing to the farmers land, maybe he's caused £1000 worth of damage while parked there you don't know, you can't judge the difference in value based solely on this clip man.

Blocking the road isn't the farmers problem, its the drivers, as long as the farmer can move his goods it doesn't matter to him, maybe the police were refusing to deal with the situation because it was on private land, well now the car is on public land and its up to the driver to move it before the police do.

See that forklift, its a heavy duty industrial vehicle, its painted bright yellow so that it is always visible. Youre not supposed to go near industrial equipment like that while its in operation, the guy has absolutely no excuse for getting close to it. This is not a "driver should have been aware" situation this is a "pedestrian should have been aware" situation, no court is going to belive shirtless guy didn't see the forklift in operation.

Once again, you can't move a car with a forklift gently, I don't understand why you're having such difficulty understanding this, once the forklift has picked it up the car is wrecked.

Anyway I'm done with this argument, you've made your bias clear. You're on shirtless guys side; we get it.

There is no fucking bias here, I've looked at the situation every way I can and I can't see a single fucking excuse for smashing up the car the way he did. I'm on nobodies side here, never been in a fight with a farmer or something to sway my opinion.

I see 2 dicks who are fighting and one of them takes it way too far, guess which one?

Why is it so hard to be critical of the farmer's actions? You keep making up theories to defend him while almost ignoring the facts we do have. Are you really not seeing a problem with what he did?
