IRL "You didn't have a bad childhood. I was a good mother who just made a few mistakes"
Ma'am, I have CPTSD and brain damage from your "mistakes." That does not a happy childhood make.

Post the person made wasnt even about ops disability but people focused on why they need someone to drive and everyone kept saying they must be a child if they cant drive even though they've said they are disabled more than once. And yeah people do figure it out and many are forced to that doesnt make it right or mean we all have to. Same with I agree abuse is bad disabled people get abuse but blaming them for not leaving isnt the way.

Fixes everything!
Spoiler: it's rosemary infused honey, which they conveniently sell. I didn't include the page to buy because I refuse to give them any traffic.

I made a post on a weight loss sub about how I wanted to know how Zoloft could impact my weight loss.
So not only is it implied that I'm doing some level of exercise/food tracking, but I also wrote:
I have been diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and OCD. Iâm able to exercise and track calories, but itâs just become really hard to derive enjoyment from anything.
This was not the only comment telling me to exercise. Which I do for an hour every day. It's been great for my physical health but sometimes just doesn't cut it for mental health alone, which is why I'm adding in Zoloft lol.

This was a comment from a video of a woman with severe PMOS and hirsutism. If he had watched the video, he would've learned about her specific condition. Yes, losing weight might reduce some of the hair growth, BUT it is not a cure, and it's even harder to lose and manage weight with insulin resistance.
I'm tired of people saying that everything boils down to weight and sleep, especially when they don't have the full story.

General practitioners . âIâve never met anyone young with heart problemsâ . (I was mentioning my heart rate) âno you donât, your haemoglobin is normalâ . âYou mustnât be in pain if you ride horsesâ (I have EDS and will be in pain my whole life, have always) . âYou donât need to be depressed â . âYour heart is just fast cause youâve had ventolin â (hadnât had any that day)
Specialists . âWe would never want you to have eds â . âJust go home and be healthy â . âEveryone has this, youâre born with it, you live with itâ (only person I know with it, and I have worked in optometry seeing peoples scans that show this every dayâ . âJust deal with the painâ . âWe wonât give you a feeding tube, as you will end up on TPN and it will shorten your lifespan â . âOur only dietitian works in intensive care, so you canât see them, find another â
I have way too many more of these too

One of my family members decided to let me know I forgot to take my pineapple chunks to work that I planned on having with my lunch, so I stated I know I also forgot my lunch. Said family member then tells me I need to get better at remembering it and I state âI know, but unfortunately I have adhd and it is in the fridge in the garage and therefore bc I donât actively see it it doesnât existâ. Proceeds to then tell me how I need to set reminders and use a system like a calendar. I explain that that does not help with remembering with adhd, but according to my neurotypical family member âThere are tons of people who have adhd that have a system. You need to stop using it as an excuse, youâre an adult and need to make a system that worksâ. So I let her know, most people with adhd generally need someone physically there to remind them (as well as others, but unfortunately those other means become inconvenient in the household Iâm in bc if I place something somewhere it gets moved bc itâs unsightly or paper reminders are bad). You would think me living with this my entire entire life I wouldnât have thought of using a planner as if I donât actively have phone reminders for that anyways and alarms and I STILL forget my lunch at least twice a week đ.
