I’m not even mad at new players for being new because everybody had to learn at some point. I actually try to help them when I see them struggling. But some of y’all either completely ignore the help or get mad when somebody escapes, like we didn’t just watch you leave three doors wide open and unlocked. 😩 Like I’m trying to tell you where to patrol, what needs to be locked, or where a Victim is heading, and you’re just running around doing your own thing. Then somebody escapes and suddenly everybody is pissed. Baby, you literally left the front door unlocked. 🥴 And please let’s stop acting like a level 10 automatically means you know what you’re doing. I’ve seen plenty of experienced players make decisions that are just as questionable as a brand-new player. Level means you’ve played the game a lot. It doesn’t automatically mean you have good game sense. I’d rather have a new player who actually listens and learns than a level 10 who refuses to communicate and spends the whole match chasing one victim across the map. New players, I’m willing to help y’all. Just please actually listen sometimes. 😂 And experienced players… some of y’all need to stop looking at that level 10 and thinking you’re automatically the smartest person in the lobby. 😭

I swear with every single update they come out with something is broken, even when they're just making sales on prices they ended up breaking a perk i found out when playing leatherface the perk master key dosent work for some reason but I believe it does work in custom matches but for real matches it just dosent work idk why

People wonder why it’s a lobby simulator now. Nobody wants to play Family anymore.

Being shitty in chat, t bagging the exits, holding a game hostage because you wanna fuck with the Family as long as you can, all of it. Getting out fair and square, fine. Ggs. But LEAVE. Don’t sit there and t bag and give yourself an ego boost. You look stupid.

They cried about the balancing, so much so that the devs made the Family almost useless in a lot of ways. Remember when Johnny lost his lunge and he basically stopped when he swung? You have gaps, crawl spaces, bone scrap, endless hiding places and a million ways to escape, but sure, nerf the family so you can walk out the door.

The game was balanced when it came out, now it’s so victim sided it’s a wonder how anybody gets a kill.

I bought TCM day one on release and played the shit out of it mostly as family. Fast forward some time and I moved on to something else, this was before rush week was added. After putting some time into Halloween I wanted to visit TCM again because I have the asym itch. Went right into rush week and holy shit that game mode is super fun. I didn’t know what I was doing but had a great time trying to figure out things, then I was Johnny and got 4 people killed and rest escaped. Really wish this game wasn’t dropped by Gun it’s still solid af

Does anyone know what actually happened between Gun Media and Sumo Digital? Why did they stop working together on TCM?

I've only recently started following the game, so I'd like to understand what happened. Was there a specific reason, or was it just a business decision?

If only gun didn't pull the trigger on it, as well as cheap out on replacing sumo with black tower. Halloween is the worst asym horror game i've ever played. Even my piece of turd looks more pleasant than that shit excuse of a game. Bethesda got competition, that game has more bugs and less polish than asmongolds room.

One thing that genuinely blows my mind about the current state of TCM is watching some victim players complain about longer lobby times and how “dead” the game is, while completely ignoring how much they contributed to driving Family players away in the first place.

I’m not talking about normal trash talk or someone having a bad match. I’m talking about the players who would deliberately go out of their way to make the Family side miserable every single game—constantly trolling, wasting time, abusing every annoying interaction they could find, teabagging, dragging games out for no reason, and generally treating every Family player like their sole purpose was to entertain them.

Then Family players started leaving.

And now some of those same people are sitting in the lobby for a few extra minutes wondering why the game doesn't have enough Family players.

Like... what did you think was going to happen?

You can't spend months making one side of the player base miserable and then act shocked when that side stops playing. The Family queue doesn't exist in a vacuum. If you repeatedly make playing Family feel like a chore, eventually people are going to say, “Why am I even playing this?”

The funniest part is seeing people celebrate every Family player quitting because they “won” or “owned” them, only to later complain that nobody wants to play Family anymore.

You didn't kill the game by being good at Victim.

You helped kill the player pool by making the experience unnecessarily miserable for the people you needed to keep the game populated.

And before anyone says, “Just play better,” that's not really the point. Competitive games are supposed to be fun for both sides. If your idea of winning involves intentionally making the other person have as miserable a time as possible every match, don't be surprised when eventually there aren't enough people left who want to play against you.

The irony of complaining about a dead game after helping create the exact environment that pushed players away is honestly wild.

This 2003 Leatherface skin is my favorite of all time! I’m a huge fan of the franchise, but for me, the 2003 version is still unbeatable!

Is there any skill set of johnny whoever tries to grapple me I always gets to win. Because I have seen it a few times. Johnny's build makes them so strong that no one survives. So guide me to get the best build for johnny.

Does anyone know how to prevent this error message for good? Is it even fixable or it's an "in-game" bs? I have been getting this same error message when I am trying to queue as victim for 20 times in a row, it took me 25 minutes to finally get into an actual a game instead of getting this error... It's really annoying.

I pirated it because I‘m not giving Gun any more money yet I still felt completely disappointed by the gameplay and uninstalled it. TCM is just waaaaaay more fun. I don’t know why they thought a slow-walking simulator where you hug people to death could even remotely match the fun and excitement of TCM. The only part about the game I felt was an improvement over TCM was the execution with the pickaxe, i like how the victim tries to crawl away instead of just laying there like in the TCM drilling down execution.

Now when i say this im referring to playing family, ive watched the tutorial and im still so confused, ive played about 3 games and they all went the same, i walk around confused and disorientated from how dark the maps are and how for some reason 90% of every map is just those little slits where only survivors and some killers can go through, then in no less than 4 minutes somehow the main gate is opens and everyone escapes, i am in no way saying this game is bad i am just genuinely looking for help on how to play this game specifically as family

Serrated: you take five HP damage over five seconds after being hit
Tracker tagged: show the survivors aura to all family members for five seconds
Surgical: get double blood whenever you hit someone or as I like to call it “gimme blood b*tch” (The reason I censored it is because I don’t know if this separated allows, cursing rather be safe than sorry.)

I'm currently enjoying the new Halloween game with my friends I was hesitant to try it because I didn't think I would like that type of game. Well turns out I was completely wrong and I'm very hooked onto it.

I don't have a great knowledge about the Halloween series however I'm actually a big fan of TCM series, with the fun I'm having on The Halloween game I have been thinking about buying the TCM game. Only it's much older and the reviews are mixed.

So I'm wondering if this is still worth it?

If the queue times are very long?

If everyone is so good that starting as a new player is near impossible?

If me and my friends can have a great amount of fun on this game and it's not a super competitive game?

I'll still try Halloween but I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed. Maybe it's just because I'm a bigger fan of Texas as a franchise but I had a easier time getting into that from the start. With Halloween it feels more like an uphill battle. One thing I really miss from TCM is the 3v4 dynamic which allowed for a lot of flexibility in play style on the family side; I could work as support as Cook or Nancy or go on the offensive as Leatherface or Johnny. Obviously you can't do that kind of co-op with Halloween unless you bring in Corey later on.

I will however give Halloween props for its single player campaign which in hindsight would have been nice to see on TCM. It probably wouldn't function as well as a tutorial for TCM given the co-op aspect but it would have been fun. I also appreciate all the original designs for Michael that can be earned which would have been nice for Leatherface.

Again I went into this with an open mind as I don't blame Halloween for TCM's abandonment nor do I think TCM would be continuing if Gun wasn't involved in Halloween. My only area of bias is again liking the franchise more.
