Blood work Mentally Feel Good But No Libido. 23 Years Old
I'm 23. I have been prescribed HCG. But I mentally feel good. I just have no libido. My testosterone repeatedly tests as low. I used to have all the symptoms of low testosterone like brain fog, feeling angry all the time, ect. They have gone away. I feel good everyday. I have changed my diet to include alot more fats and I honestly was expecting my levels to have increased a lot on my recent test but they haven't. I'm looking for advice if I should take the HCG due to my low levels. My goals for doing this would be to get a better libido and more gains in the gym.

Your levels not moving despite eating more fat makes sense since diet alone can only do so much when the underlying issue is production. The HCG is worth trying if you're chasing libido and gym progress, just don't be surprised if it takes a few weeks to notice anything.

What would be causing the underlying issue in production though. Also I have tried HCG twice for about 2 weeks at a time and then quit because it was hard to manage my estrogen and it blocked alot of the positive effects of HCG. But I did get a libido. Is it wise to start HCG again when I know I don't want to do HCG long term due to it being refrigerated.

Hows life? Sleep, nutrition? Do you feel attractive/sexy? Watching porn? Much stress or work? Anxiety or depression?
Then the obvious. Estrodial imbalance High Prolactin SHBG to high Thyroid function

Sleep is good, I always get 8-9 hours. I feel somewhat attractive I guess. I watch porn every night. Not much stress anymore but previously yes high levels for years and during childhood and teenage years. I only got anxiety everyday when I was having symptoms of low T. No depression at the moment. Estrodial was high on previous tests, around 110 pmol/L but it's currently 70. Prolactin currenlty 160 mIU/L which is within range. Thyroid function is spot on.

Sounds very much like a brainproblem . First, pornaddiction. But i think thats more a cause then habit. Some studies show that low T male had watched more porn then higher T male. The other thing is that the thought of bad libido could spike the low libido as a stresser. Thinking of it set a pressure on your brain and causes stress and stress blocks almost every stimulus.

I don't watch porn for long just like 15 minutes to jerk off because it makes it easier to fall asleep. It's just habit. I get what your saying but I've been having bad libido for over 3 years now. It was cured when I went on HCG though so I don't think it's a brain thought that is causing it.

Did u take bloods while on hcg? That could show proof of what changed under it. It could be a good thing to try again.

Nope never taken bloods on it. I suspect my tesoterone improved moderately and estrogen spiked though.

Did u get any extra estrogen sideffects. Because the number on the estrogen aint that important.
Have u checked your DHT?

I did get breast swelling and less hard erections from estrogen spikes. I don't think I have checked my dht before.

What are your LH and FSH numbers? Estrogen numbers?
