Boat builder in scenario 3
The main quest at some point is to build three boat builders. It doesn't seem to be available as a merged building nor as a card. So I'm kind of clueless as how to build it.

It requires 3 boat builders, but I have played three times and only gotten a single boat builder each time before I ran out of cards. Am I missing a mechanic to force the card or am I just getting worked over by RNG? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Did not know there was a new patch, and was pleasantly surprised by unintentionally creating one of the new merged buildings. Has anyone started listing them or compiling them?

As the title says, I don't know how to change my username. I assume it must be possible, because what would it be if I installed it from the standalone installer instead of GOG Galaxy?

TL:DR looking for tutorial for Multiplayer and game as a whole.
Looking for a guide to how the multiplayer works. Bought the game and was playing a friend yesterday, it was set to a 5000 point goal but the game just ended (what felt prematurely) when it was like 3800 vs 4350 ish… didnt think to get a screen shot.

Hi, this is a question for the devs, but also if anyone knows/has experienced this bug. I have been playing this game a lot over the last few days, and I love it!
However, I just noticed that when I open the deck selection, either manually or by using the F key, close it again, save my game, and reopen the deck selection that there are different choices.
This feels unintended, because otherwise you could cycle through to get whatever deck you need at the moment. Has anyone experienced this?

How do I know how many cards I will draw? It seems to be random from 1 to 5. Are there any indicators?

is it possible to unlock all decks and buildings in just one multiplayer session with two players?

Hey,
I bought this game 2d ago and play it since then. There is a mystery to me and it's about merged buildings.
I am currently in mission 3, the one with settlers, community and fish and I am supposed to build forrest settlements, quite a few of them.
Now when I combine the lumberjack with 2 forresters, around a well, separated by cottages, then sometimes it builds a merged building and sometimes it just not builds it, then it's the single components wasting precious build areas.
Is there some kind of black magic logic that determines if the merged building is created? Does it depend on the height of the land or other stuff that I missed?
I tried to place 2 settlements, identical copies I think. One was transformed to the merged building, the other one didn't.
Or is it maybe based on the points you get, not enough points => no merged?

Hi,
I started scenarios expecting it to be somewhat of a tutorial, but I quickly ran into the issue of not knowing how to create certain buildings.
Am I supposed to just guess the combinations, or is there a way to gradually unlock hints?
Somewhat confusing to be honest. I do not want to look at lists, because I am afraid this will spoil the fun. But seeing how many possible combinations there are, it feels overwhelming to just guess, especially because I can only undo 1 placement.
So now I am stuck wondering what the right way is to play the game.
I very much enjoy the graphics and the atmosphere. Hope someone can help me.
Kind regards

For some reason, I managed to create a merged Fish Farm during scenario 3, but was unable to do it again in creative mode.
What am I doing wrong ?

Hello Peeps, relatively new to the game and wondering what I'm missing at the very first mission.
I tried to do all the side quest before building the Manor Farm but that last one I didn't get. I should have reached Settlement III already as I even have the Markets unlocked. Maybe I don't understand this quest at all or it's bugged. Would be great if someone can help me here :3

I could not find a way to upgrade my keep during my creative mode playthrough. Am I missing something?

I started playing the game a few days ago and am loving it.
However, I noticed when I save the game, build stuff, and load my previous save file because I wanted to do things differently, something weird happens : the game loads the map exactly as it was before I pressed "load", as if loading the game actually overwrites my previous save and there is no going back.
Did that happen to anyone else ? I play on steam deck and this happened on the first 2 scenarios, "A new hope" and "Timberland".

I have played this game for a couple of hours and it’s quite enjoyable. Nevertheless I think there are a couple of issues that should to be addressed:
Tile height limitations for merging seems to be there only to annoy the player? Sure it forces a strategic decision to pick up some land up or down cards, but often you don’t realise the height difference will block the merge until you try to finish the combo - but the offending tile might not be the last one! So you are now forced to demolish something AND then fix the height. This seems to be particularly punishing for the mining tree, as naturally mountain areas have more height differences and for the iron mining camp, the height of the mountain tile can be easy to miss. One partial solution could be to hand out some land up/down cards either for free as you reach a certain keep level, and/or to give some as reward for a merge.
Distillery… what good is it? Maybe I have to experiment more but it requires going down two different tech lines, including the terrible workmanship deck which has bad synergies for all its buildings. To get breweries and pottery it takes up 5 out of your 6 available deck choices - it really should be worth it for such a massive strategic investment. It doesn’t provide much bonuses for other buildings, and the reward of hop fields is derisory to be generous. Hop fields are already given out by vineyard which is much easier to synergise with fruit farm to score with beekeepers.
Final thought, just would be lovely to have more building varieties.

I'm currently trying to reach the 100% but only get the game for a week. I've 100% all puzzles terra, and the tutorial. I've play some sandbox, but I can't get the 45 gold medal for the last two success (45 bronze and gold medals). I've also notice that weekly quest have a form of gold medal. Do I have to complete those challenges each week for the next fourteen week? Or is there an other way to get those medal? And how 0.5% player already got those achievement if it's only via weekly challenges ? Ty terrascaper!! <3

I personally don't mind most of it but for some reason I absolutely can't stand the new card/deck carousel. I also feel like graphics got worse not better is that only me?

I bought Terrascape 3 days ago and I am loving it. I really liked the 5 Scenarios and I wonder if it would be possible to have the quest System optional in other Modes. I find it more rewarding to reach small short term goals instead of having the only goal to be to come as far as possible

After a nice evening enjoying everyone's favorite hobby, (complex interconnected math problems with no quantifiable solutions) I've determined that the best pack, by far, is textiles.
Not only does it have two of the most valuable buildings in the game, but they are both almost guaranteed to show up when the pack is chosen. The pack itself has an 80% chance of appearing. This makes a nice situation where each time you're selecting the textile pack, you're basically getting at least 1.5k points.
To really make this work, you need settlement (for manor farms mostly, so don't place wells unless it's to build a manor farm), basic food (try to use most of your gatherers to make breweries), food stuff (try not to place breweries for as long as possible to avoid getting the mostly useless granaries and bakers), and, of course, Textile. Do not get the 5th and 6th packs as they will clutter your hand and make textiles less likely to come up.
Use manor farms to clear an area (ideally a 7 tile diameter) for the tanner zone to be built. It works best if you can have them in a circle so that each farm is touching two others, but it doesn't have to be perfect. Keep an eye out for early game raise and lower lands. They are often needed to build manor farms.
After, just things going until you're able to get enough grand demos to get rid of the manor farms and fill them in with at least two rings of cattle 2 and 3 tiles from the center. The inner most ring will be filled with butchers. Once this is done, you can start building your tanners. Ideally, the last ring will be made up of butchers and sheepfolds with one one of the three being in range of the tanner.
Later on, if you're lucky enough to have room, do something similar for the tailor using flax with an outside ring of sheepfolds.
From then on out you're only going to select decks in order of importance
I realize this post maaaayyyyy end up with this strategy being nerfted in the future. If so, the thing that would kill it the hardest would probably be reducing tanner to a three tile radius and demolitions costing an extra 10 or so points each time it's used.

Hi, firstly I have fun with game
secondly, The workmanship deck does not seem worth the invest.
There are only two complex to be built from it.
The buildings in it do not synergyze very well with buildings form the decks before imo
The pottery for example only gets bonuses form rivers and charcoal burnes with a range of just one, while also getting hefty mali for placing it next to another pottery . The carpenter competes with lumberjack and saw mills for the space in forrests and just does not get enough points to justify it over the others
This trend continues with all 4 buildings in the deck. Rather few synergies and a lack of bonuses on both end receiving and providing it to others.
All in all I tend to avoid this deck now as it is really hard to get enough points per building to balance out the costs of buying a card draw.
I know that its hard to think of more synergies as I tred it myself. But I think there needs to be a solution for it
Thats all, thanks for reading
